One - "This is your new boyfriend."

Lily POV

My dad sat in his office, talking to someone on the phone. From what I could hear from behind the door, he wasn't too happy.

"Bobby! I'm not hearing it! Lily isn't going to date your son!" My dad yelled. "Find someone else! I'm not letting my daughter date your son! He's a bad influence!"

My head snapped up at my name. Was my dad seriously talking to our rival company? About me??

I heard the phone slam down, making me jump. I was sitting on the couch, on my phone, when I heard the argument. I started listening to it to hear what it was about, but I knew I shouldn't have. I went back to my phone when my dad walked out of his office.

"Lilly, I have to go to a meeting tonight with your mother. Do you think you'll be okay home alone tonight?" My dad asked. "Well, not alone. Liam will be here."

I nodded, looking up at him from my phone. "Yeah I'll be fine. How long do you think you'll be?" I asked. My dad sighed.

"I have no idea honey." He said. "Liam said he'll make you some dinner if you'd like or he could order out. I'm gonna go get ready."

I nodded, letting him go get ready, watching as he went upstairs. I sighed and texted my friend Sam, telling her that my parents were going to be out and that I couldn't meet with her that night.

My dad came back downstairs, freshly shaven and in a clean cut black suit. My mother was wearing a knee length red dress which hugged her figure and made her look stunning.

"We'll see you soon sweetie." My mom said, kissing my head. Liam opened the door for the two of them and they got into my dad's car.

Liam shut the door as they sped off. I sighed and looked at him.

"What time would you like dinner?" He asked. I shrugged.

"I'll probably let you know. I'm not that hungry tonight." I said. Liam looked at me.

"You okay?" He asked. I shrugged and sighed as I plopped down on the couch.

"I guess. I don't know anymore." I admitted. Liam sat next to me and put an arm around my shoulders.

"You know you can tell me anything Lily." He said. I nodded.

"I know." I said. "I'm just scared my dad will get mad at me."

"You can tell me Lily. I promise I won't tell your dad." Liam said. I sighed.

"I really like Bobby Horan's son Niall. I don't know why. I just really do. He seems really cool and I just wanna get to know him." I said, feeling horrible for liking him.

Liam looked at me. "You like Niall?" He asked, smiling.

I nodded, my cheeks flushing pink. "I don't know why." I said. "I've never even met him."

"It's okay Lily." Liam said. "You can't help falling for someone."

I shrugged. "If my dad finds out, he'll be so mad." I said. Liam smiled at me.

"No he won't. He's a good guy. He just wants the best for you." He said. I nodded.

"I know. I just hope he doesn't force me to date one of these stupid guys he makes me meet." I said. "They're all so gross."

Liam laughed a little at me and I smiled.

"Hey want me to order some pizza?" Liam asked.

"From Calahan's?" I asked. Liam smiled.
