The Attack

It was in the afternoon and the crew had stayed the night at the beach island. Luffy was in the kitchen with Sanji, Robin and Nami..

"Hey you and Zoro recently have been together more often" Sanji commented out of curiosity.

"And? What about that?" Luffy asked.

"No, nothing, I just found it interesting. That damn Marimo just wants to be the captain's favorite." Sanji didn't want to make it a big deal, but he knew that being the captain's favorite had its perks.

"Say Luffy, Zoro does seem more calm around you" Nami pointed out. She did notice the change in attitude between Zoro towards Luffy and the rest of the crew.

"He's changed." Robin agreed with Nami.

"REALLY? I haven't really noticed." Luffy acted surprised. The others would believe him, but in fact Luffy was too concentrated on Zoro's actions that he didn't notice the overall atmospheric change in Luffy's relationship with Zoro.

"You know Luffy, you need to start paying attention to your surroundings and especially when it comes to people" Nami advised Luffy not knowing how this conversation might impact Luffy for the better or worse.

"Oh." Luffy added. This conversation made him have the idea of asking some innocent questions that might have an ulterior motive.

"Oi Nami how do you get a person to surrender, you're great at that. Sanji always does what you ask him to. How do you do that?" Luffy asked.

"HEY Luffy that's not true" Sanji's pride was hurt coming, but it really was true Sanji is basically at Nami and Robin's command.

"Oh really I'm great at that?" Nami said knowing she basically does has power among the crew. She has her ways.

"We'll, first you gotta be dominant. Make sure you look them in the eye. That's how you intimidate someone. If you look into their souls they have no choice but to surrender.

"But luffy For who ? You don't seem the type to worry about being intimidating. You're so squishy and soft." Nami asked Luffy.

"Nami is right Luffy, maybe you can try something else if It's too hard for you to concentrate." Robin suggested.

"Well... I was just curious. I wanted to intimidate my opponents to surrender to me. You know, like for a fight and stuff.." Luffy awkwardly responded.

"For a fight? But don't you have Conqueror's Haki? Why dint you just use that knock out someone?" Sanji asked.

"Yeah, like using Haki almost... maybe, but I was wondering if there was another way... you know maybe without knocking someone unconscious and maybe just making someone vulnerable?" Luffy added not knowing he was getting real shy and timid which is not normal for Luffy. This threw the rest way off knowing how Luffy usually is the complete opposite of how he's acting right now.

"Well, we don't know how to use Haki, but we have some tips for you even though these wouldn't be recommended for tough opponents." Nami and Robin said.

"You can practice with Zoro even." Nami said jokingly.

"HEHEHE yeah... maybe." Luffy started to wipe off his sweat coming from his neck.

"So Robin, what were you going to recommend?" Luffy asked right away.

"Maybe act more confident. And don't break before they do. You must be strong in a fight not just physically but mentally. If you concentrate on what you do you can achieve many things and not just in fights but in life too Luffy." Robin recommended.

"GREAT! thank you Nami and Robin." Luffy gave a thumbs up and continued eating the sandwiches Sanji made.

"THOSE ARE MY GIRLS NAMISWAN ROBINCHWAN" Sanji felt like a proud man.
