Ⅰ: The Droplets

TWICE

The school bell rang as students starts to fill in the hallways, preparing to go to their last period before going home

"Psst! Chaeyoung-ah!" Chaeyoung turned around to spot her best friend, Dahyun, walking over to her "Hey Dubu. what's up?" Chaeyoung asked. Both of them started to walk towards their joined class together "Jeongyeon unnie just texted me, you coming to the little party at the woods? It's just gonna be us"  Dahyun said "Are there gonna be drinks? I can’t get a hung over tomorrow, i have training for the race" Chaeyoung stated before opening the door for her friend

"Well yeah but you don't have to drink, we can just party. I'll bring some apple juice if you want" Dahyun chuckled before taking a seat "I guess" Chaeyoung laughed "Sure, We'll stop by the store before heading over?" she asked to which Dahyun nodded to. Not long after, their subject teacher came in and class started

After an hour and a half, the last school bell rung as students starts to pack their stuff up and going their separate way or with their group of friends. Chaeyoung and Dahyun waited at the gate for their other friend; Chou Tzuyu. Speaking of her, she just arrived

"Hey yoda, busy tonight?" Dahyun asked. Tzuyu checked her phone "surprisingly, no. But I do have scheduled photoshoot at Saturday" She said as she put away her phone "Great! Wanna join us? Jeongyeon unnie is planning a small party at the woods" Chaeyoung said "At a Wednesday night?" Tzuyu raised a brow as she unlocks her bike, the other two did the same "Yeah why not?" Dahyun laughed. Tzuyu smiled and shook her head "I'll think about it. I have to head on first, need to feed Kaya and Butter. See you nerds later" She said before riding her bike and paddling away

The two girls watched her back "And to think she's still single until now" Dahyun chuckled "I know right, so many suitors and still no lover. what if she's gay" Chaeyoung asked "I would take my chance" Dahyun nodded making Chaeyoung laugh. They started to make their way to the convenience store, picking out some snacks, sour candies and juice for the party

"Jeongyeon unnie said Jihyo unnie and Nayeon unnie would be there too" Chaeyoung said, looking at the text on her phone "that's fun, the 3 noisy seniors" Dahyun laugh while checking through the isle for more snacks to buy. Chaeyoung looked up and saw one of her classmates for second period, a japanese girl with a mole on her nose whom she's been taking interest on

"Mina-ssi?" Chaeyoung started. Mina looked up and smiled softly "Chaeyoung-san, what a shock to see you aside from class" she laughed elegantly. Chaeyoung smiled sheepishly "Yeah well, we have different lives outsjde second period" she said while scratching her nape "Wah! Chaeyoung-ah they have 60 pieces chocopie!" they heard Dahyun exclaim "I should go. If you're not busy, do you want to come with us? Jeongyeon unnie planned a tiny party at the woods. We'll make smores" Chaeyoung offered. Mina took the drink from the fridge and turned to Chaeyoung "I'll see if Sana and Momo wants to come with too, don't want to feel out of place there. Thanks for the offer though, see you~" Mina waved at her before walking the opposite way toward the cashier

Chaeyoung watched the girl with a smile on her face. Progress, She thought

She made her way towards Dahyun who was struggling to pick between graham biscuits or vanilla biscuits "Just pick one" Chaeyoung said "I want both" Dahyun huffed sadly "Then buy both-"

"I have no money!" Dahyun faked weeped, hugging the two biscuits to her chest. Chaeyoung shook her head and handed Dahyun somw money "oh!~ thanks mama~" Dahyun smiled and went over to the cashier. Chaeyoung rolled her eyes playfully before following Dahyun "Okay! Got everything! Do you have anywhere else to go?" Dahyun asked her friend
