"Up Maddie! Up!" My mom ordered, walking over lifting my leg. "You seriously can't always order me around mom. I'd like to see you have national titles and winning here and there, and to be ordered around like some rag doll! Gosh mother, I'm tired of dancing damn 24/7! I have a life I have more important things to do than to have my mother living through my life!" My mom took a step forward looking me right dead in the eye, no emotion filling her eyes.
Lifting her hand she slapped me across the cheek,"Leg up high! Don't make me repeat myself again Madison Jennifer Bass!" Pain stung my cheek that was turning rose and sending pain through my left side of the face. I went back to the dance position and looked straight at myself into the mirror. Tears swelling up in my eyes but I knew I couldn't cry in front of my mom she wouldn't understand anything other than making it seem as if I was weak.
'And a real dancer is never weak, but strong.'

I tightened my duffle bag Strap walking towards the Eddie's entrance.
"MADDIIIEEEEE!!!"
Of course it was my boo thang which is codes for best friend, who is none other than Anastasia Powell. "Annaaaaa..." I replied giving everyone the best smile I could give for the mood I was in. Skimming the group I spotted Jake in the back booth on FaceTime. "Hey what's Jake up to?" I nudged my other friend, Becca sitting down next to her and digging in for a slice of pizza. "Arguing with Jerica... Like always. Cheese?" She asked holding up five packets of cheese. Refusing to the offer I decided to make it seem like it was a deed for me to say something. "Why doesn't he just dump her already? Jake is always crying when he finds out about a new lover. This happens every month." Anastasia laughed spitting out a bit of her soda dripping down her chin. "Mads, you cry over Arellius like every other weekend. You can't possibly judge another couple when your relationship is just as complicated," She said concerned cleaning herself up. "Yah I know but..." I stopped myself knowing she had a point. Arellius McClain is my boyfriend, over a year ago I fell in love with St. Mary's quarterback and had him wrapped around my finger. That is until I found out about Mandi Jackson, she didn't go to our high school but to some bad behaved outside of the city. She was the whore that got between my love or at least I thought it was love.
My boyfriend of course had found a way to cover his dirty tracks. Having all his fuck boy friends support him through his lies. All my friends threw out their hatred and harsh comments in person and over social media. Twitter, Instagram, Ask.fm, Snapchat and surprisingly even Facebook was posts being uploaded about my relationship cheating scandal. It seemed like everyone wanted me to dump his ass once and for all. Obviously I didn't since to this day I call him mine but everyone understood the reason why and if they didn't then it didn't hurt me to ignore their existence. I wasn't going to let some whore who had no future ahead of herself or some jock who would most likely get some prostitute pregnant before the end of summer. It was a plan that went a little out of way. Though I made it look like I was a tough one who wouldn't let anything get to me I let those tears out when I was alone and with Ana. She was the only who could ever relate to my kind of situation and the only one who was ever a good true friend.
"Well I'm going to go ask what's wrong. Text me when Arellius shows up." I made my way over to The back booth scooting in next to Jake. "Hey bud. What's wrong?" I playfully judged him his head in his heads. "Jerica," he mumbled, barely hearing his response. "What happened this time?" He lifted is head and he stared at the seat for a long time. "She broke up with me... " He shook his head his hands clenching into fists.
"I give her my love! And she cheats on me with a new boy every fucking month!" His voice grew strong and loud. "I bought her jewelry and anything that sparkled and she buys me stress!" He slammed his fist down on the table. "I treated her like she was a very own queen! And she goes around town acting like a little skank!"
Joseph walked pass the booth,"Jake? You alright?" He sat across from us. "Do I look like I'm fucking okay-y?" Jake's voice cracking at the end of his sentence.
"Hey Mads! Arellius' car just pulled into the parking lot!" Ana called from the table. Joesph, Jake and I looked through the windows searching for his car until we spotted it waiting for Arellius to make his entrance. It took some time, seemed like forever. Soon everyone who had showed up had their attention on his car waiting for him to walk out of it any time now. I glanced down at my phone since I have gotten an Instagram notification but I thought it was a text from Arellius. Seconds later everyone gasped, I stared up at Joseph who's hands were over his mouth. Anastasia who's face looked reddened, and Jake who looked like he was about ready to hurt someone. "Did you see a ghost?" I teased whispering to Joseph who's attention was still paid on the scene. "Look Maddie." He mumbled. Turning my head I dropped my phone letting it hit the table and my hand coming up to cover my mouth. Tears swelling in my eyes and before I knew it down my cheeks, my heart pounding but now into two halves. There the two standing... Making out, enjoying each other's company.
Jerica and Arellius....
Kissing.
