"SINCE I AM TAKING YOU TO THE PARTY, HAYDEN, THEN WE NEED TO SET SOME GROUND RULES." Tori says, keeping her eyes on the road as her and her brother pull up to the loud mansion, full of drunk teens.

The girl puts her car in park before turning to look at her sibling with a frown on her face. "No coke with Rafe Cameron. Ok?" She gives him a blank stare before grinning.

"Alright! That was my only rule." She shrugs, getting out of her car and adjusting her outfit. She had decided on wearing a red bikini with a black denim skirt. She wore sunglasses on her head and kitten heels that displayed her fresh white pedicure.

"Ok, sis. Love you." Hayden says between giggles as he walks around to Tori, giving her a quick side hug before running off with his friends. All she did was stifle a laugh.

Grabbing a red solo cup filled with some type of alcohol that the young adult could not place, Tori looked around trying to find somebody she knew, before getting yanked into a crowd of people by Kelsie.

"Tori! Ok, don't look but-" The redhead said, elongating the "but" which made the brunette turn her head around and see none other than Matthew Parker, in all his glory looking like he just walked out of the ocean. He was smoking a cigarette while standing in a corner, some high schooler talking his ear off. He could not look more uninterested in the conversation as he dazed off into the crowd of dancing kids.

He had sunglasses sitting on top of his messy, wet hair, and a sunburn on his cheeks. No shirt, and very short, bunched up board shorts covering his tan legs.

He was much more attractive in person than on the cover of OBX Weekly, at least in Tori's mind.

Her lingering stare was clearly caught, since Kelsie was slapping her arm to turn back around. "I said don't look!" She whispered, playfully rolling her eyes with a huge smile on her face.

"I didn't remember him being that cute in person. No wonder you are in love with him." Muttered Tori, a light blush on her face.

In response, Kelsie widened her eyes, as if saying, "You just realized he's that hot?"

"Go talk to him! He's clearly bored by that bitch talking his ear off. I know the trick, ask him his name." The brunette friend said, raising her eyebrows.

The "bitch" in question that was talking to Matthew was Lola Bright. She was very pretty, Tori wouldn't deny that. But god, was she boy crazy. Three words that accurately described her were things like clingy, needy, and annoying, according to her last twelve exes from the past two years.

Tori didn't slut shame. If she did, she'd be a hypocrite, but, Lola was definitely a girl that would rather hook up with a cute guy then go get drinks with her friends, which was a red flag in Tori's mind.

"Tori, why would I ask him his name... if I already know his name?" Kelsie scrunched her eyebrows, adjusting her outfit and sneaking the surfer glances. She was clearly intimidated.

The Kook chuckled at her friend as she walked back over to the bar to get another drink, her friend following her. While she walked by the sweaty bodies, she swayed her hips to the music, Kelsie awkwardly trying to do the same.

"Boys like him that have status, find it attractive when girls are oblivious to who they are. Act like you find him cute, but don't know who the hell he is. It'll spark his interest, trust me." Tori lifted her shoulders, while giving the girl a lopsided grin. She quickly topped off her drink and walked into the crowd, leaving her friend alone.

"Wait! Tori?" Kelsie said, looking around the party like a fish out of water, not being able to locate her friend who had just magically disappeared.

Realizing she won't find her, the teen took it as her chance to go over and talk to Matthew, since Lola had clearly already excepted defeat and moved on to another guy.
