[3rd pov]

Royals are a special kind of flock, ones that truly work around the clock. The world sees them giving orders and changing rules, but only because those people are fools. Such authority and grace, but be warned that mask is not their true face. For a militant royal can cause the world to crumble, be prepared for a royal rumble.

[Y/n pov]

We had been walking for a long while, or should I say I have been since she can't walk. However we both were keeping an eye out for some place to rest, possibly a hotel or a motel. I could only hope I don't have to sleep under a bridge or something.

"Tell me, and be honest, why did you help them? You had nothing to gain from doing so, or lose by leaving them alone. So why, why help them?" I hear Nightmare ask as I stop at a street corner to see where exactly we are.

"Well, I couldn't help it ... I guess you could say it's second nature to me. I can't stop myself from helping someone in need. It's actually how I met my bud Rick, although that was an awkward situation for us both. His girl can really hit hard." I responded recalling the memory, while leaving it vague for my associate.

That seemed to cause her to go silent for a moment while I start walking again, following the street. As I walked I noticed everyone still staring at me. I can't blame them, if I saw someone with a mask made out of bone and piercing red eyes, I would be a little cautious too. Then again I'm also walking around buffer than most, shirtless, and slight traces of blood on my shoe. Not exactly the type of appearance you want to have if you're out in public.

"I see, I suppose that makes sense ... even if I can't quite understand the context. Although I would suggest you pay attention you're already nearing the end of the road." She says snapping me out of my trance. Sure enough, I was at a dead end street.

"Woah, okay, um ... I guess we just go back the way we came?" I say before some random thug runs out of the alleyway, and into me. Now while normally I would be on my butt from that, I stayed standing as he actually slid to the ground.

"STOP RIGHT TH-" A cop said before noticing the semi conscious thug. "Woah, that's not something you see everyday. Thanks son, you just saved us a lot of trouble." The cop said as he walked over to handcuff the thug.

"Um no problem officer." I say in a slightly confused tone as I walk off with a slight wave. As I reach the prior street corner I just walk across the street and continue on. "That was weird, that guy acted like he ran into a wall."

"Well that would be because he technically did, like I said, you are my masterpiece. I can't let you die or get hurt easily, so I made sure a pathetic insect like that one couldn't damage you." Nightmare explained, clarifying some things. However our little conversation didn't last long as I hear someone gasp in shock.

"HOW DARE YOU WALK AROUND SO INDECENTLY!?" A woman's voice shouted in disgust, causing me to turn towards the voice. Once facing the voice I saw a female in a dark black outfit with crimson red hair. She seemed to be holding a rather strange looking umbrella at her side. Next to her was a small child in rain clothes with what I could assume was a Parasite.
