Sasuke's pov:

I sit on one of the benches outside all dazed.

The police lights keep flashing and I could hear the muttering of police officers as they got filed a note report.

I hadn't even moved an inch when I heard the scrambling of footsteps. I turned my head and saw reporters.

But how?! It hasn't even be a day and they found out?!

"Mr Uchiha spare us a few minutes!"

"Is it true you killed the beloved daughter of the Nanijro family?"

"What do you have to say to that?!"

I was only trying to save her. I was tired and the unprecedented surgery was something I didn't need to do.

Maybe if I had avoided it, someone much more capable could've saved her from her illness and she'd be alive.

When I tried saving her after realizing the cut I'd causes on her organs, she pleaded for me to let her die. I was torn, but I caved in.

I ignore the reporters and make my way to her parents.

"Please listen she wanted to die and i-"

I stood there shocked as I felt the sting from the mother's slap.

"Stop lying!" "She's gone because of you!" "You won't get away this!" "We'll sue you!"

I ran past them ignoring the shouts of the everyone and went through one of the back exits then dashed home.

Days later I'm transferred to another hospital

I was surprised to see I still had a job.

When I got the hospital I was given glares. Looks like a few nurses got a hold of what happened.

More days passed.

This is pointless! They won't let me touch a thing! They're so wary.

I mean I would be too...
