After threatening to charge all of us because Derek somehow escaped, Gordinski put his men on the lookout for him. I was hoping we could find him first.

Luckily, I knew where he was heading.

We arrived at the youth center and we split up, agreeing to keep quiet. I heard Derek yelling and hurriedly followed his voice, my heart pounding in my chest.

"I never hurt you" I heard Carl say as I crept behind the old lockers "You could have said no" At those words my heart sunk in my chest. Sometimes no isn't enough. My heart broke at the sight of Derek crying.

"You're under arrest Carl" Gordinski said, appearing behind Buford. I slowly walked up to Derek, putting my hand on his shoulder. He kept his eyes on Buford.

"I've helped a lot of kids!" Carl defended.

"Let's go!" Dennison grunted as they cuffed him. He tried to fight his way out of their grasp's.

"The neighborhood won't be the same without me!" He yelled "Its gonna be worse without the center!"

"Somebody will keep this center running. The neighborhood will. I will" Derek assured, his chest shakily heaving up and down. They began to take Buford away but he begged them to wait.

"Derek, Isn't there something you can do for me?" He asked pleadingly.

"You go to hell" Derek scowled. Gordinski stopped, as if he were going to say something to Derek. But he left it at a nod before leaving. Once he was finally gone, I opened my arms. Derek wrapped his arms around me and wept into my shoulder.

"I'm so sorry, Derek" I sighed, patting his back. A stray tear fell as I thought about how he must've felt, keeping it to himself all these years. I would say I couldn't imagine the feeling, but I could.

I heard footsteps and we slowly pulled away, I kept a supportive hand on Derek's arm. Hotch and Gideon stood in front of us. I smiled and turned around to face Derek.

"We love you, Derek"

Spencer and I had arrived at home around the same time and I was exhausted. We both climbed out of our cars and met each other at the front door.

"Don't worry too much about it. Derek's strong. He doesn't want us to look at him any differently" Spencer spoke softly, as to calm me. I nodded slowly and he put his hand on the back of my head, leaning down to kiss my forehead.

I smiled and went to unlock the door, but stopped when I realized our doorknob was pulled off. I raised my eyebrows and drew my gun, pushing Spencer behind me. I crept into the house slowly and cautiously.
