Chapter 1:Learning the Ways of Magic.

Astrid's POV:

I have arrived with the monk at some random place I didn't know, there was a group of kids around a.. kid monkey demon?
I know it's weird but I can't help but be shocked cause Evan though there were demon in my village before I never saw a monkey demon.

?unknown person that will soon be known? POV:

A couple of hours ago one of the monks went off in a hurry and told me not to pull any problems while he was away. Which sounded pretty boring but I complied, but then the monk came back in a few hours with someone with white hair which they looked really cool in my opinion but I couldn't talk to her sadly cause of me entertaining everyone except macaque who was doing something else at the moment I saw the girl walk away with the monk going into the temple the monk looked worried but didn't show the only reason I noticed was cause of look of betrayal in his eyes.

Third Person POV:

With the monk and Astrid,
Both walked to the temple "stay here I'll be right back." Astrid stayed there waiting for the monk to return within a few minutes the monk returned and had the same outfit as everyone around the demon monkey had, handing it to the young girl
and Showing her a room she could change in he left so she could get changed. After 10 minutes the girl came out and was dressed in what she called a 'uniform' since everyone outside, probably still around the monkey demon was wearing one.
"you'll be introduced during supper come with me and I'll show you your room. " Astrid nodded at this staying silent, the monk showed Astrid her room deciding to leave her at her door but before he could Astrid grabbed his coat's pulling it gently, the monk stopped in his tracks and looked behind him. "Can you tell everyone I can't speak please I don't want to talk to anyone." "I will have to tell the higher ups that you can talk but with the pupils I can tell them your mute if that makes you more comfortable here." The girl nodded at this, letting of the monk's sleeve allowing him to leave and tell the higher ups that you have arrived. Astrid went into her room seeing a bed bookshelf and a table with a chair and a window she new she was some who going to need decorations for her room to make it feel more at home but she didn't mind this.

Still third person POV:
Time: dinner.

Everyone had just gotten their food and sitting down, talking to the people around them the monk had then rung the big bell in the front of the room, "everyone listen we have someone new coming before I introduce them I want you all to know that they cannot speak meaning that they will not be able to answer questions." Everyone was curious about who this person was soon came a girl that the monk introduced and soon Astrid had sat down made at least one friend since she known how to write and had a journal with her little did she know this is where the story begins for her.

Sorry for be late the reason why was because I forgot I had lessons today. Meaning I'll try to post on Tim next time!!!
