CHAPTER 4

"Here. You will need to fill out this form with information and return it to the social services department on the forth floor by 8 am tomorrow morning. That's not an issue is it?" Taylor's mom spoke.

I shook my head 'no' and replied," No issue, not at all, Thank you! Also did they already get in--." I was cut of by Taylor's dad.

"Yes, they have already gotten in contact with your parents. They will be here a ten to release all rights from you. W also have a team of movers packing up your things and moving them." He said.

Taylor looked shocked," Wait what is going on here? Why is Aubrey, my best friends girlfriend and my ex's best friend moving in with us?"

His mom looked at him and said," Taylor calm down, but Aubrey is actually your sister. Nash, Mkayla, Amber and Matthew had came to us after your indecent showing us pictures of both of you and a video of Aubrey helping you."

Then his dad jumped in," You and Aubrey aren't just brother and sister. You guys are....." he paused for a minute," you guys are twins."

Nash spoke up," But wait if there twins then how old is Aubrey? Also why aren't they in the same grade?"

"You see when we gave Aubrey up her mother got the wrong birth certificate. Aubrey is 16 almost 17 and she is not a freshman but a junior. Your birthday was off also." His mom said.

I was stunned, " Then my whole entire life has been a lie. How long has Matt known Nash?"

* Matt walks in*

"Aubrey I'm so sorry I've wanted to tell you since i knew, but i didn't know how." He said.

I turned to Matt, " Just tell me how long you have known?"

He sighs and looks to Nash then back to me," Since 3rd grade."

I stormed out of the hospital got into Taylor's car, i texted him and asked hi. If i could take it for a drive.

T= Taylor A=Aubrey

A- Hey brother can i take your car for a drive?

T- Sure. But to where?

A-Shawn's house i just need to talk to him, have a jam session.

T- Alright! Be careful, and let Nash know soon.

A- Kay thanks.
End call.

I started the car and turned on never shout never's song check yes Juliet. On the drive to Shawn's house i thought about Nash how worried he could be. Not knowing where i ran off to. I pushed the thought of him aside. Then thought about Matt. Everything. I had arrived but when i did i just started to cry. From anger and sadness and stress and anxiety. Everything had changed so fast. I wasn't ready.

I guess Shawn realized i was here cause he came out and picked me up out of the car. He grabbed the keys and carried me inside. We went straight to his room and he hugged me tight. I felt so calm and safe in his arms.

"Shawn I gotta tell you some stuff." I spoke up.

He sat down on his bed,"Alright Aubrey you know you can tell me anything."

"I'm just not sure if this is something that I can get out speaking it." I told him.

He spoke up," Then play a song that can explain it."

I grabbed my spare guitar i had at his house and started to play this song me and him had written about a year ago. We were gonna use it when we got famous but until then it was our little secret. When i started to sing he joined in.

When i had finished Shawn asked me if it was about the situation at Taylor's. I mentioned that at the hospital i had found out that i had been adopted. Out of Taylor's family, and also that i was being adopted back into his family. I also explained that my whole life had been a lie. That i wasn't the age i thought i was and that i wasn't in the right grade or anything.

Then i started to cry again, and Shawn opened his arms and i walked to them. We laid on his bed as he held me. We had a past and if i knew anything i knew this wouldn't go well.

" Um, I think i'm gonna go. I have to get back to the hospital." I told him standing up from the bed.

I checked my phone, 3 missed calls from Nash, 5 message and it was already 2:00 in the morning.

Shawn stood up," Yeah I guess that's fine. But at least let me walk you out."

" No.... It's fine. I think I got this," I told him and grabbed my purse. I walked to his door then turned back and said," Thanks Shawn, I miss this."

" I miss it too Aubrey, be safe, Goodnight." He said closing his door.

I walked down the stairs and went outside to Taylor's car. I decided I might need to call Nash back and let him know i'm okay. Ring...........Ring........Ring....... .

N- Nash A-Aubrey

N- Omg, Where are you. You just ran out o the hospital i had know idea where you went.

A- I took Tay's car and went to.... Mkayla's.

N- Yah right. Aubrey you never hang with Mkayla where did you really go!

A- Nash don't do this please.

N- Aubrey tell me!

A- Shawn's! There you happy. I talked it out with him and he comforted me. Nothing happened.

N- Nothing happened! Aubrey you went to your ex instead of me. Why didn't you talk to me. I care about you.

A- because....... I don't know! Okay. I like you but i'm just confused with everything going on.

N- Meet me in the parking lot, were going to my apartment to talk.

A- fine whatever.

Nash's POV

I saw Aubrey pulling up in Taylor's car.
