Scarecrow fidgeted over Bruce's body overwhelmed with joy of how he is going to break Gotham most appropriated man. He then laughed at him at he's is going to break the most feared vigilante in Gotham and told him " You failed this city, your identity is revealed you're going to be just a man to them now, a man in fear. They will see there is no more savior, no more hope and no more batman. Then we are done the legend of the batman will worth nothing at all. " Scarecrow then leaned his head near Bruce's laughing at him but the latter head butted him making him stumbled back. This made him lashed in anger and told Bruce fighting won't solve nothing he's theirs now before inserting him with his four needles. Bruce vision then darkened again but then was awakened and a man who he thought he would never see again, a man he saw dying in from of him having his last laugh. The Joker was standing right in front of him.

Joker " Bruuuuce. Bruuuce. Bruuuce.
Bruce do you hear me Bruce? Of course you do. That humble of you think of me when you relive the tragidies to mine. I missed you too Bruce. " He then laughed at him

Bruce then had his hand around his head shaking but this time he is in the batsuit without the cowl. Then joker went on saying

Joker " You know I'm myself surprised about Jason, pretty sure the explosion did the truck the last time I tried. But who stays dead anyway? Don't be guilty look at the boy you should be proud! We should be proud. ( He said as Bruce face was full of guilt.) Look at what he became. At least he got a backbone. ( He laughed) But let not worry about him for the moment. "
Joker " We are going to have some much fun with head of yours. ( He laughed.) Oh, Why don't we started with some crippling?. "

Everything darkened and Bruce woke up again and he sees himself at a carnival standing in front of the batmobile and Commissioner Gordon in a cage and Joker standing with his cane out. Batman flies at joker tackling him to the ground as he sprays his acid at batman's right shoulder. Joker escape into the tents and batman frees Gordon but he tells him he's fine and tells him to go after Joker. Batman runs inside and sees photos of the joker and Barbara Gordon lying on the ground in a pool of blood. As batman runs to the hallway the joker can be heard overhead taunting him telling him,
" We are not so different and it only take on bad day to become like me. " The Joker is then heard from another hallway asking him " Why can't you see the funny side and why aren't you laughing? "

Batman then bursts through the glass grabbing Joker telling him " I heard it before it wasn't funny the first time. " He then threw the joker through the glass and lifted joker in the air telling him " Gordon is fine even though the sick things you made him went through maybe ordinary people don't always crack easily it's just you the whole time. "
Joker then lashes out in anger smacking batman with a plank of wood and trying to stab him but is easily countered thrown back onto the ground. As batman slowly hunches over to him joker rolled on the ground revealing a gun in his hand, he then fired but only a blank flag came out. Batman stood over him telling him they are running out of options but maybe he can still help him. Joker put his hand on his face telling him it's too late but that does remind him of a joke. Then everything goes black as the Joker walks back up to Bruce and the memory fades. He tells him he's ashamed he did pulled the plug on him sooner it would have probably saved him saved him from a teeny heartache. Batman looked and seeing he is a a room looking down at Barbara struggling for her life all the anger from that night fueled to him knowing he failed her his partner, his friend by allowing the joker to continue his madness, he let down the closet people he cared the most. The joker puts his hand on batman's shoulder telling " Bats cheer up at least you didn't anyone else down again oops. " Bruce grabs him by the throat strangling him, the Joker flails in terror his eyes rolling back as he begged Bruce to spare his life, he then closes his eyes as if it's that he died but slips out of Bruce's hand laughing.
After his laughing fit, he tells Bruce;
" We are only getting started I cannot wait to see where this goes bats. "
