Bruce stood in front of them all saying " I'm proud of each of you all, you were able to save Gotham in spite of me. Bruce Wayne, the Batman they are gone. Destroyed by my actions and decisions. You will never have to forgive me but I want you to know one thing, I will never put myself in type of situation to hurt you again, you're my family and I failed you like so many times before. " Dick reach out to him saying " You didn't failed us Bruce we knew what we were putting ourselves into before joining this life, the risks involved. You have been a better mentor to any of us than you ever imagined. " Bruce replied " Thank you Dick but I can't stay in Gotham any longer. This means I'll have to leave you for a while, find a new way to strike fear into the hearts of criminals. Gotham is in your hands from now, I trust that you will protect and make it an even better place than I ever could. Watch the city together, work as a team, a family and always have each others back. Dick you will operate in Bludheven but I trust you will protect Gotham too. " Dick nodded and replied " Gotham will always be under my protection Bruce. " Bruce then walked over to Alfred and said " Alfred you have been the best father figure for me and I'm very grateful for the paternal love you gave me and for what you taught me. Sometimes I was very stubborn, arrogant and I'm sincerely sorry for taking you for granted. But you no longer work for me now, you will have to find work elsewhere. " Alfred replied " Thank you Master Bruce but I have a family to take care of. " And he hugged Bruce and told him " You will find your way out eventually. " Bruce took a final look at the clock tower and headed down the elevator leading to the garage, he pulled out in his black Porsche only to find Selina in front of the door. She told him " This city has nothing to offer and I'm coming with you. " Bruce then told her " The road I'm taking is permanent if come with me your life will change forever. " She told him " Stop being so dramatic. " And hopped in and they drove away out of Gotham.
