"Gossiping Are We?"

Shout out to my delusional friend who helped me come up with the concept for this one

Another average day of daydreams and delusions and I find myself talking to my friend about my new crush. He was in my class and also happened to be the most attractive boy there, in my opinion ofcourse.

"He's so cute I swear" I said. "I really don't see it" my friend replied

For some odd reason not many people understood how attractive he was which I didn't complain about, it only meant I had no competition.

"I swear look at him and I mean really look at him and think about the fact that he's kind, charismatic, funny and he likes all the same cartoons as me!" I exclaimed determined to convince her that he's the perfect partner.

"Girl... I think your straight up in love with him, but I still don't see it"

The conversation went on as I continued to state my case with good mention of his gorgeous eyes and stunning smile. I also took the liberty of bringing up factual evidence which was not at all biased, or so I claimed.

As I continued to describe how his gaze made me feel, that very same pair of eyes I described made their way over to me and that complex bubbly anxious feeling I was in the process of explaining washed over me. Though preoccupied with his friend he seemed to be paying special attention to me, sparing me glances every now and again.

I tried so desperately to focus on my friend but I simply couldn't take his stare anymore and decided to move to a more private area. As we did so I took the opportunity to talk about all the little scenarios I thought up of all the different ways my crush could decide to kiss me and how romantic they were my friend endulging my fantasies with scenarios of her own.

"Imagine he pushes you against a wall or hugs you from behind! " she spoke. "Girl the way I'd faint!" I replied "Or imagine heeee..." my friend stopped in her tracks dragging out the last word as she stared past me. "What is it?" I asked looking slightly confused, before feeling a presence behind me.

I turn my head to see my crush was right behind me and close enough to feel his warm breath on my skin I froze in terror, did he hear everything!

He moved his head closer to me still stood behind me and whispered. "Gossiping are we? Now I wonder who your talking about" he said the warmth of his proximity was slowly driving me crazy.

"I-" was the only word I managed to mutter as I stared at my friend who was right across from me and witnessed the entire ordeal with a look of shock on her face. He simply chuckled and smiled "Carefull what you talk about girls, you never know who could hear you" he offered me a wink before walking away

My friend and I simply stood there entirely shook by the entire situation.
"OK I totally see it now" my friend finally spoke.

OK literally no one is reading this but to the imaginary readers that I tell myself are reading. Sorry for being gone so long
