Third Person POV:
Luke and Ashton grip each other's hands tightly, both hesitating to make their way up the Eroda Palace stairway. They side eye the Cheshire knights that stand guard around the palace.
Ashton pulls on Luke's hand, leading him up the stairs and into the palace. The doors open for them when Ashton explains loosely how they request King Mitch's presence for their right to get married.
"We got this, babe." Ashton comforts quietly. "We just have to stall him."
"Yeah," Luke replies under his breath. "Just keep a psychotic king busy while the people he's trying to kill, which are our friends, sneak into the palace to do the one thing he doesn't want them to do. No pressure, right?"
Ashton laughs as they walk forward, entering the throne room.
Shawn crouches behind a few crates as knights pass by the tiny alleyway he's hiding in. He watches them carefully, waiting a few moments after they disappear to stand up straight. He turns to the small door on the old brick wall.
He raises his fist, shaking slightly. After a deep breath and deciding that he can't stall any longer, Shawn knocks two times.
The door opens after a moment, only cracked as someone peeks at him. Then they swing it open and usher him in.
"Come on, hurry!" They say.
Shawn scurries inside, eyes squinting in the darkness of the passage he just entered. "Wow," Shawn murmurs, "This is like some National Treasure lookin shit."
The man in front of him rolls his eyes, "So you're Shawn, I assume?" Shawn nods. "I'm Calum, I work with Louis."
"So, we need to get to the throne room, right? Where is that?"
"Upstairs, around a few hallways. Is the rest of your team in position?"
"Uh, I'm not sure. I think so, I hope so."
Taylor sneaks through the kitchen, dodging staff as she makes her way toward the exit. She slips through the door, keeping her head down as she wanders through the hallways.
She gracefully hides away from passing knights before slipping past them and rushing to where she assumes the bedrooms are. Harry had tried to explain to them the layout of the palace, but it's hard to memorize that in only a few hours.
She opens one room, no one's there.
She opens another room, empty. She hears knights turn the corner, deep in conversation. She runs to the next door, throwing it open before slamming it as quickly but quietly as possible.
She presses her ear against the door, listening as the knights pass by without a clue. She sighs out in relief. She turns around, spotting the frightened boy on the bed.
"Who are you?" The fluffy-headed kid asks, big brown eyes open with nerves.
"Prince Liam," She bows her head respectfully. "My name is Taylor, I'm friends with your cousin, Harry."
"You're one of the people Calum told me about?" Liam asks, standing up from the bed. "The ones that I sent a plane to?"
Taylor nods, "Yes, sir. I'm here to retrieve you for Harry's ceremony, we need you in attendance."
"My cousin is here? Is he safe?" Liam is concerned, very worried about Harry's wellbeing.
"Yes, he's here. He's with his knight, Louis."
Liam laughs, "Yes, I've heard of him. The newbie knight that was tasked with taking care of my stubborn cousin."
Taylor nods along, "Yeah, he's been pretty busy with Harry..."
