30|This is Just the Beginning

You didn't realize how fast time was flying as it was already the day of the battle. The battle where You, Takemichi, Chifuyu, Kisaki, and Hanma would stop Hakkai in his plan to kill Taiju.

The five of you stood outside the church where you all planned Hakkai would be.

"You sure this is the right place, Y/n," Takemichi whispered in your ear.

"Yeah, I'm sure. This is the address Hajime sent me. And plus, this is the only church in the area." you said.

Takemichi nodded at your words. Takemichi held a determined look on his face. You all did, but not more than him. You knew not too long ago, Takemichi broke up with Hina. She told you what happened herself.

You just sighed at the thought and looked at the church before all of you. This was the final battle, after all. This battle would decide everything—the future of Toman, the future of the Shiba siblings, and your future.

"If Toman loses the battle of the 25th, you'll join the Black Dragons and be our advisor. And if we lose... me and Inupi will join Toman." Koko's voice echoed in your mind.

You all began walking your way into the church. Until...

*DING*

*DING*

Your phone rang in your pocket as everyone turned to look at you.

"Haha- sorry, one sec," you muttered, taking your phone out of your pocket.

"Hajime..." you muttered, closing your phone and putting it back in your pocket. "How'd he even get my number?"

"Everything okay, advisor?" Hanma asked with a smirk.

"Yeah, everything is fine," you muttered before turning your attention to Chifuyu.

Hanma nodded at your words and continued walking.

"Here- take this. You might need it," you whispered to Chifuyu, handing him a pocket knife.

"Why would I need this-" you cut him off.

"SHHH- no questions," you muttered, sliding the knife into his uniform pocket.

Chifuyu just accepted the knife and continued walking. You had a feeling Hanma and Kisaki would have something else planned aside from the plan the 5 of you agreed on.

The plan was; first, Takemichi would enter the church where Hakkai is predicted to be. You would follow behind Takemichi, scout the area, and look out for Taiju to warn Takemichi. Takemichi would try his best to talk Hakkai out of his plan of murder. Chifuyu, Kisaki, and Hanma would stall to keep Taiju out of the church for as long as possible. That was the plan that the 5 of you agreed on.

But you were sure that Hanma and Kisaki had something else planned. So you had a plan yourself.

"You guys ready?" you asked the males who walked beside you.

Everyone nodded.

The battle of the 25th will begin...

"Y/n, Takemitchy, be careful." Chifuyu spoke, hanging over you and Takemichi's shoulders, "This is all up to you two,"

"Right." you and Takemichi spoke in unison.

You and Takemichi began your way up the stairs of the church. Both are determined to stop Hakkai and win the battle.
