"Hello what's your emergency?" The 911 operator said.
"My name is Courtney Davis and I'm at 46 Thompson Street. My best friend Hanna Cambell is lying on the floor dead. Please come as a fast as you can, please please." I can barely get the words out I am sobbing so hard, overwhelmed.
"We will be over immediately." The operator replies, then hangs up. After about 4-5 minutes, I hear the wail of ambulances. I am still kneeling in Hanna's doorway from when I fell. I can barely see through the tears during out of my eyes. I hear the ambulances stop, then people come into the house.
"Up here! She is up here!" I scream. Footsteps come pounding up the stairs, and paramedics see me. 4 push past me to Hanna, but 1 comes to me in the doorway.
"What happened? Can you tell me? Courtney?" He says.
"I don't know! I don't know!" I scream, sobbing. "Hanna. Hanna is. Hanna is. Dead." That is my last thought before I pass out, dead to the world.
