•chapter 3•

Everyone except Hiro, Ichigo and Goro had once again met up in the lounge to talk again.

"what happened to the talk about hiro still having a shot of being a parasite" spoke Futoshi

"Considering he was only able to connect for a moment...i don't like his chances" sighed Ikuno

"No way he's getting in with that weak shit" smiled Zorome

"Then what's that say about the parasites who could only manage a draw against him" mitsuru talked back

Zorome sat up "Woah I cant be held accountable for that, Kamryns the one that made us fall over"

Kamryn stopped picking her finger "Excuse me, so you not remember what you said right before that-"

"naw i try to live in the now, unlike you" zorome plainly said

"unbelievable" Kamryn huffed she was glad they were sitting on opposite sides right now, she couldn't stand him.

"you two shouldn't fight! it's hurts your numbers.." kokoro softy spoke

then Ikuno continued "anyway, if a parasite can pool it there's little hope papa will be willing to accept it"

everyone had either spoke their agreement or thought of it

"she's right we saw so many kids disappear from the garden because of that" spoke Futoshi

Kamryn and Kokoro shuddered at the memories

"and it was so sad.." murmured kokoro

Kamryn decided to change the subject

"it's not like ichigo's better though.. she's supposed to be leading us but her 'friendship' with Hiro is obviously getting in the way and impacting her performance. She's so quick to change plans all for Hiro too, honestly i don't know how Goro does it"

then Ichigo walks in "whats Goro have to do with it.."

so did Goro "uhh.. what about me?" always clueless liek cmon pal

then ichigo spoke "if Hiro becomes a parasite then that will help us out, that's all their is too it.."

Kamryn sighed "As much as i'd hate to be that guy and break your dreams but that's a pretty humongo if"

"he still has a chance" Ichigo spoke harshly

"i'm not sure..even with you he couldn't do it i think this is it for him ichigo..." Kamryn sighed

"don't forget he did pilot starlitzia, even if he was unconscious at the time, he saved us i still believe in him"

"Ichigo, while i can understand why you'd want to stick up for him he did nothing. Hiro was just a passenger taken along for the ride" mitsuru smart mouthed

Kamryn was very uncomfortable, she didn't like how thick the tension was, she just wanted to nap ong

"you don't know that! you have no idea what happened" snapped Ichigo

"there's no doubt Hiro was special.. even among the double digits he was a cut above... we all thought he would lead us, that he'd be the one to show us the way. but life had other plans.. Hiro wasn't able to become a parasite.  Let's face it hes not who he used to be" Mitsuru had stood up dusting himself off

Kamryn was thinking of the nasty side eye Mitsuru gave her one time

"it's time to give up and cut our losses, i don't wanna see this pathetic side of Hiro anymore" Mitsuru finished.

all you have to know was as soon as kamryn walked out that room she napped.

When Kamryn was RUDELY awakened she was told to go to the board room,  she walked with Mitsuru, they had a good talk of shi talking most on the crew.
