She felt herself trying to change. She knew she was becoming the original half of herself, Erin. After a few seconds of the queezy feeling, Erin was Erin once more. He ran to the back-door of his house and went in. Jessica was already in his room, waiting for him.
"Finally you're here. Where have you even been?"
"J-just stuff..." Said Erin in the saddest tone he could do.
"Alright...Well then, you should tell me what happened so I can help."
Erin sniffled.
"Well, I think she was starting to not love me for awhile now..."
"Oh..."
"Yup..."
Jessica patted his back and hugged him. Erin blushed a bit, being so close to her.
"I love you Jessica...." He said, in tears.
She let go of him and stared into his eyes.
"No... I told you already Erin.... We can't be together..." She said hesitantly, afraid she might break him.
"B-b-but...."
"But nothing Erin. I like girls. Sorry.....and I can't change it. That's the way I am..."
"....can't you at least fake it?"
She kissed him on the mouth, long and passionately.
"That was because you're my best friend. It won't happen ever again. Remember how it feels."
Erin stood there, speechless at what just happened.
Jessica's phone buzzed and she checked it.
"Sorry....but I have to go home. I'll see you around."
She then exited his room.
Erin's mind was still processing what just happened.
