I was taking photos of the drivers, mechanics, cars and honestly anything around the service park. I have been a rally fan ever since I can remember and because I also loved photography I had known since I was a kid who I wanted to be when I grew up.
This job has given me so many opportunities and I've met many interesting people and famous drivers.
But recently photographing this rally I've bumped into one specific driver more times than I can count over this past week. That driver being Kalle Rovanperä.
The blue eyed blond has also caught my attention with his performance. Clean stages and keeping out of trouble, his win will be no suprise.
"Hey! How's it going?" someone asks. I look up from my camera and of course it was Kalle. " nothin' much, just doing my job. You?" I ask back. "All good, just came to ask if you maybe wanted to go get a quick lunch before service ends?" Kalle asks. Now who would say no to a nice warm lunch after working non stop for the last 8 hours.
"A lunch would be greatly appreciated," I say.
-very small time skip-
"So, do you have any plans for tomorrow evening?" Kalle asks. "Why you wanna ask me out?" I joke. "What if I did? Would you say yes?" Kalle says.
"How about this.. if you win tomorrow you can ask and find out?" I propose. "Well prepare yourself than," Kalle responds.
-time skip-
"After 20 clean stages, Kalle Rovanperä wins the power stage as well the rally!" The commentators applaud.
After the celebration Kalle walks over to me and as he leans closer he asks:"Will you... go on a date with me?". "Yes, yes I will,'' I tell him.
AN: This whole thing deleted when I was about half way done and it was a pain trying to get it back.
