(Blackjack: please tell her to calm down.

He and Kero watch on as Dreya hops around the place like a hyperactive cartoon character. Both of them sweat dropped.

Kero: perhaps it was a bad idea.

They continue to watch on as they could barely hear any word coming from Dreya's mouth as she keeps saying some incoherent words or something.)

On the previous chapter, everyone or at least those from the empire now understood the situation they brought themselves into. The other side of the gate are powerful monsters who were waiting for their turn against them, to burn their world. Clearly the empire underestimated them. A LOT, including Japan but even more so that it is not the most powerful one. Now some are worried for which one is the most powerful while others are intrigued on which one is the strongest and saw an opportunity for a deal. A certain prince had that thought at the back of his mind.

At the current moment, everyone are interested on the legendary battle of 300 warriors against a large horde. Some are excited, some are curious, and then there's one who couldn't care less. But the glare from Kero and some chuckle from Tyuule that spells "you suck" forced him to watch on.

Kero: Dreya, for everyone's sake please come down.

The goblin snapped out of her thoughts and huffs, everyone can see her ears waddle up and down like a puppy's tail would behave when happy.

Dreya: hmph! You're no fun Kero.

Kero: you are just going to distract the audience with your nonsense.

*bash!*

The exact second Kero finished his sentence Dreya immediately appeared right in front of him and bashed his head hard. It may look painful for everyone else but to them it's just a small baby punch.

Dreya: you wanted more raise?

Kero: *deadpanned* perhaps.

Dreya huffs again and returns back to her previous position. Everyone can't even understand what was going on as it all happened within few seconds. That was really fast for their eyes, Rory was getting more curious about these two more than ever.

Rory: [who are they?]

As she got over her curiosity thanks to Itami when he saw her looks of interest. Kero coughs a little to remove some awkwardness in the room before it gets out of hand.

Kero: *cough* well. Let's put that aside now. So are you guys excited for the legendary battle?

He got a response of very excited yes, maybe, and one no. Of course he knew which one is which.

Kero: well before we begin, I want you to know who are contesters that will be in the battlefield. Of course it's not really historically accurate but it does explain most things you needed to know.

The audience understands everything as they listens carefully on Kero's words. But some have few questions behind his motives.

Lelei: excuse me, I may be rude but why are we watching this?

Everyone else in the audience had the same thought as Lelei's. Kero explains that question as he expected it.

Kero: well for one, why not?

He shrugs as everyone stares at him with a deadpan. Dreya secretly nods in agreement with Kero.

Kero: and two, almost everyone here are gettin used to the unfair advantage between you guys(JSDF) to the empire. But to be fair those guys deserves it.

While some agreed with his statement, the imperial family felt insulted from the psychic's words.

Kero: now Rory, please try not-... be. You?
