I was hesitant about letting a human member join our crew after being warned about their strange biology, but when I met them, they looked harmless. They lacked fangs, claws or horns and from what I understood they weren’t poisonous or venomous. But all that didn’t matter, they possessed the right credentials, so we welcomed them on board. I almost thought there was nothing wrong with them until we were hired to explore a newly discovered planet, the temperature on the surface was too low to allow life, so it was inhabitable, but maybe we could find some kind of new precious mineral. Upon descending we all wore our heated gear even the 2 Qalars member, the ones with the more torrelance for cold temperatures, had to be careful.
That’s why I was shocked when I saw the human coming down without their thermal equipment.
I shouted-"what are you doing human do you want to die"- they looked at me puzzled -"What are you…? Oh, you mean the temperature. Nah man -15°Celsius is nothing much I had colder fall days when I was living in Berlin".
Initially I assumed the human simply had a much colder body temperature until I remembered they hadn’t said anything about the temperature in the ship and if I remember correctly, in there it was like 20° Celsius in human’s metric. I was so shocked that I didn’t even consider the possibility of them being able to endure even colder and hotter temperatures but that’s a whole other story.
( this is my first story, I'm sorry if there are some grammatical errors)
