After getting off at her stop, Leah hopped onto a jeepney that was supposed to take her home, but the trip turned out to be a lot longer than she expected. With the rain coming down hard, she made her way through the soggy streets toward her apartment building, looking forward to the cozy warmth of her own place.

"Ahh.a!"

Regrettably, Leah accidentally stepped on a pointed object that punctured a gap in the doll shoe she had on, piercing through her foot. The unexpected incident left her in pain and in need of immediate medical attention to address the injury.

"What a good time!" She cried.

During the continuous downpour of the rain, the deserted road offered no solace or assistance to the woman in need. Despite the pain she felt through her right leg, she gritted her teeth and pushed herself to walk forward, determined to reach the building ahead. Even though the relentless rain beat down her head, feel the coldness of water that makes her wet. But Leah is strong, walking still, and remains unshaken.

As she walked up to the entrance of the building, her gaze was instantly captured by a stunning luxury car parked right out front. It was a massive vehicle, unlike anything she had ever encountered before, and it sparked a wave of curiosity within her.

However, the excruciating pain she was experiencing reacting again, causing her not to pay little attention to the extravagant car as she continued her slow and steady walk towards her destination.

By the time she was about to pass the car, the back passenger door suddenly opened, and Frank's face showed up.

"Hello Leah.."

She stopped. "F. Frank. How did you find me?"

"Wait, what? How are you doing? No, seriously, how have things been for you since you walked out on me?" His anger vibrated in his voice, crystallizing his formal accent.

"I walked out on you?" Leah huffed.

"Aren't you the first one to end what we have and now show up to make it look like you're engaged to someone?" Leah added.

Frank's dark eyebrows arched upwards, revealing a hint of surprise that played across his features. His expression clearly conveyed his astonishment, catching the attention of those around him.

Leah tightened her grip on her leather jacket, desperately attempting to ward off the biting cold. As the chill wind whipped through the air, she fought to suppress the involuntary shivers that threatened to overtake her. However, the show is about Frank, seemed to be a momentary distraction of her from the throbbing pain in her leg, as if his presence had the power to momentarily stop her discomfort.

"Come, let me go into your apartment. You're wet."

She stiffened at his command.

"No." She shook her head.

"I can't. We have nothing to say to each other. You need to go." Leah glanced up at the building. Breathe deeply while enduring the pain.

"Then get in the car. We're going to have a talk. Now!" He arrogantly commands her as if she still belongs to him, expecting her to follow his every word. This behavior is not only disrespectful but also shows a lack of consideration for her autonomy and independence.

Leah felt the tension rising, knowing it wouldn't be long before everything came to light. She was caught in a dilemma. What should she do? The last thing she wanted was to get in that car, but even worse was the thought of him stepping foot in her home. And meeting Andrei? Absolutely not. Not now, not ever!

Ignoring the wave of unease that washed over her, Leah hesitantly settled into the back seat of the car. He joined her, instructed his chauffeur to take a drive around the block, and then raised the privacy partition. The heater was cranked up, creating a cozy atmosphere inside, but Leah remained tense, sitting upright and staring straight ahead. After a moment, she slowly turned her gaze toward him.

"Well, here I am, what do you want to talk about?" Leah's voice seemed to weaken. But she chose to be strong in front of Frank.

It was clear that he hadn't changed much at all. Still, there were some subtle differences that caught her eye, especially the new lines that framed his expressive eyes so beautifully. His once-glossy jet-black hair was now cut shorter, which really highlighted his features. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't hide the anger in her voice-a constant reminder of the hurt he had caused her. Yet, even with all that resentment, she couldn't shake off the ache of missing him. Each day that passed, thoughts of him filled her mind, bringing back those precious moments they had together. Memories washed over her, like the feeling of running her fingers through his thick hair and the closeness of pulling him in for a hug.

However, Leah swiftly halted those thoughts, knowing her place and being determined to move forward.

"I wanted to see how you were. The news I know is you'd moved to Dubai with your millionaire boyfriend Kirk. What happened? Did he not give you enough money? Did you dump him too?"

Leah glanced out the car window. "What are you talking about?"

The rain drops began to slow. Leah turned back to look at him, shrugging her shoulder and trying to reach Frank face. Then she said, "I never moved to Dubai."

Frank slaps Leah's hand to stop her from trying to touch him.

"F. Frank.."

Even though Leah felt a bit embarrassed about what had just happened, she couldn't shake the feeling that Frank still had a special place in her heart. Her emotions were undeniably powerful, drawing her to him with every word he spoke and the way he made her feel. It was like their bond was strong enough to overshadow any awkwardness, reminding her that true love was something to cherish, even when it made her feel vulnerable. Deep down, Leah yearned for Frank, and no matter how uncomfortable things got, she couldn't deny her feelings for him.

"It's late. Get out from my car!" After Frank mentioned it, Lea suddenly passed out of her seat.

The car was enveloped in a heavy silence as Frank Guzman shot worried looking at her. It felt like a switch had been flipped, and Leah seemed to crumble under the immense pressure.

Frank's driver quickly called for help to revive Leah. The atmosphere was heavy with anxiety as the medical team hurried to her side, grappling with the shocking turn of events.

"She's fine. We already give her a pain killer for her wounds" The Doctor said.

Leah suddenly woke up, realizing that she's in the small clinic of the town. Now she checked her feet that was full of band aid, and no more pain she felt.

"Ahm. Why she experiences it. Is she pregnant or-" Frank asked the doctor in a low voices. To make sure Leah didn't hear it.

"No Sir. She's not." the doctor replied.

"Oh. Good.!"
