Howdy! Chapter 3 arrived!

                                                                                ........

Today was supposed to be your schedule to watch over the upcoming men's volleyball tournament between different sections within the first years. But here you are, stuck in your office, already doing paperwork and stuff. Might say, the most boring task of being a president.

Even though you clearly can't make it, fortunately, your brother Kyoya handles this event instead; making sure that all are in order and smooth sailing. But to be honest, you are quite curious about what will happen in the event, your class was included to compete anyway.

"Hibari-dono, here are the files you requested yesterday," Your secretary on duty, Kawashima-san said as she gave the stack of files to you.

"Arigato, Kawashima-san. That is all for today, you may now join the rest of your class at the gym," you looked at her and replied before continuing to review the first folder in those files. The girl stared at you, unsure if she should invite you to join her, but your concentration on what you were doing makes it impossible for her to bother you. She's not even sure if she can ask someone like you to join her on the spur of the moment. In the end, she bowed at you and then leave the room.

You're now alone, and it is sure you'll take your time getting through all these heaps of paper. Who would have believed that having seven stacks of paper to finish for today was even possible to occur? You thought it only happens in the movies. Guess the previous council slacked off a lot throughout their term. "Curse those idiots," you raged. You sighed deeply before returning to your work.

Meanwhile, at the gym, the game between Class I-A versus I-B has already begun and they are in the middle of a long rally. Unfortunately, one of the players on your class's team messed up at the first set, causing a major fallback to the team. This is their last chance to turn the tables--well, as long as that guy will set his mind up to the game.

"Tsuna, what are you doing? We are all serious about this,"  a teammate of his spoke.

The brunette was about to make an excuse about how he "twisted" his ankle during yesterday's match against a third-year student when he noticed the real injuries his teammates had sustained during their tough training. He felt ashamed. How rude could he be to pull off such an awful play like this?

A shot roared at the gym, but it was not a bullet that can pierce flesh nor can cause bloodshed. It was solely for this guy, as he fall, regretting why he didn't have much courage and talent to be actually useful for once during this match. He closed his eyes as he wished he could do more than that, if only he knew he would die right on the spot, he could have tried harder to win this game.

The second set was about to begin, and even before the referee blew the whistle, the brunette stood up again, but this time he was much fiercer as if his eyes were burning with spirit. Even his clothes were ripped because of how intense he is. The referee blew the whistle, and the game's started!"

Tsuna! Ball incoming!" The black-haired dude shouted as he warned his teammate for the ball. The other one rushed to the net, he was about to block the ball, but as soon as he jumped for it, he sprung up to the ground and jumped so high. It's like he jumped into a bouncy trampoline! He can even reach the court lights from above on how high his jump was. But then, just right on time, he blocked the opposing team's ball--with his own!

The whole mass of people in the gym all went quiet for a while, not until...

"THAT'S A HELLA CRAZY BLOCK SAWADA!" A boy shouted from the crowd and the others followed as they are full of excitement and delight.

"DAMN! I DIDN'T KNOW YOU HAD THAT IN YOU, TSUNA" The other exclaimed as he clapped his hands with much respect. "You even used your own balls there just to block the other," he added.

"Now, you really are sure have the balls!" The others also cry out. "Balls versus balls you might say!" Another one shouted making the crowd laugh, but all their eyes were focused on the brunette, thrilled about what will happen next.

After all, the receives and spikes which led by the black-haired dude, the game has come to an end where Class I-A rose as the victor! Everyone applauded after the game as they all witnessed, maybe, the most exciting one so far during this tournament.

Going back to your office, you almost finished half of the stacks and decided that the rest could wait until tomorrow because they were not as urgent as the first half. You got up from your seat and went outdoors to stretch your legs. But really, you can't just sit still in your office and wonder what's going on at the gym right now. Just admit that you can't stop yourself from checking. With that, you headed right to the event location to check what was going on.

"Just a peak," you whispered to yourself.

But then, as you approach the hall, you saw the students just going out to the gym with the others. You guessed the tournament's done and sadly, you failed to watch even the finale. You were about to sulk and go back to your office when you turned around and saw a familiar black-haired dude approaching you.

"Ah! Hibari-san!" He called. You looked at him as he came running to you with a smile on his face. "Did you just arrive? The games already ended." He said. "It seems like it." You replied as you both looked around and saw that there were only a few students left around. "But luckily, we won!" He continued with glee. He noticed how your face lit and somehow it made him smile more.

"Congratulations." You greeted with a small smile on your face. "Yamamoto Takeshi." He suddenly said. "I think I haven't introduced myself to you properly." He added as he let out a chuckle. So that's his name, you said to yourself. "Hibari Annaliese." You replied. "I know, you introduced yourself to the opening ceremony! Great work for being the president." He started with still, a smile on his face.

At least there's someone like him at school who act accordingly, unlike the troublesome one you just spoke with right before the games started. Speaking, you looked for your other classmates when the boy who is now named Yamamoto spoke again. "The others went home after the game if you are wondering." He said. "Thank you." You again, shortly replied as you slightly bowed your head to take a leave. Yamamoto waved at you in return as he took his leave also. That might be the longest conversation you had with one of your classmates. You don't know but it seems easy for you to speak with him naturally.

Your mind kept wandering when you heard soft knocks on the gym's door to see your brother, Kyoya standing at the entrance to get your attention. "Here's everything you need to know about the tournament." He said as he handed you a file with the results and even notes about the game. You smiled at your brother. "Thank you, Nii-san," You said as he nodded to you curtly and left the gym with his other council members. You reviewed the results, and Yamamoto was right, your class won the tournament.

While walking back to your office, you continued reading and discovered that a boy named Sawada played a key role in the game's victory. Gokudera was also a member of the team and made significant contributions. Interesting, you might say. So these two fought the moment they met, but they can play together on a team? How odd could that be? You were walking down the corridor with most of the classrooms empty because there were no classes left when you heard an awful bang from just outside the building.

It is common to hear some kind of explosion near Namimori as they are fireworks when the Marketplace went on sale. But this time you are sure that the sound happened just near. You confirmed it when you looked out the window and heard another explosion coming from the grounds at the back of the building. Someone had to be doing this! You descended from the third floor and went right to the source of the massive explosions.

Just as you felt a little joyful a while ago, the explosion busted it away along with the dust and smoke swirling in the air right now. You are now annoyed. You just hope that those who are involved in this scene will be prepared to face your wrath.
