*Franchesca's POV*
"Frankie......Franchesca Bishop wake the hell up" my mom yelled slapping my thigh hard. I shot up angrily.
"What!" I yell back. I look over at my clock to see its 5:50am. I don't usually wake up until 6:30.
"You're skipping school to take Jacob to the doctors office." She says rubbing her messy hair. I nod tiredly.
"Why do I have to take him, he's your kid" I say. She glares at me and whispers under her breathe 'not like i wanted him'. I glare back.
"Oh and take....the other one to her play date at Gianna's house, it's at 2:15,don't be late." She says starting to walk away.
"Her name is Marisel and it's at 3:15,and Jacob's appointment is at 9,so do I have to keep him or take him to school afterwards" I ask getting up. She walls out anyways, ignoring my question. I sigh and make my way to Marisel's room, knowing she's awake.
"Hey Marsi, you want Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Frosted Flakes" I ask picking the almost three year old up and holding her on my hip before making my way downstairs.
"Ummmmmmmmm Cinna Crunch" she says clapping her small hands together. I laugh reaching up to grab the box.

*Olympia's POV*
The sun.....the source of all energy and every living thing. Without the sun, we would all perish and die. We would all fight and damage the last little bit of food we'd have. We'd be heartbroken and depressed losing something so important as the source of all happiness.
But for me,that happened 5 years ago. When my mom was shot and killed by my own father. I was right there sitting on the steps. It's betraying to my mom that I never told. She wouldn't have wanted me to fear my dad but after that night,he changed. He's not the man who I called MY daddy so all the other kids at the school knew. He's not the man who gave me piggy back rides in the stores. And he's definitely not the man ,who just hours before the incident, was watching me read him a story. I was so excited to read my story, the big chapter book. I was quite innocent for 10 years old. Until I watched him shoot my mom.
