Falling in love with your best friend was easy until you realize that if you say those three magical words to them can cause damage or benefit
Same goes to Kim Jisoo, she fells for her best friend 'Jeon Jungkook' who use to play hide and seek's with her during elementary
But it was a sin. A forbidden sin as per as Jisoo's point of view
'How stupid I was, out of all the boys that I could've fallen for, I fall for him'
Jisoo has her reason for thinking like that.
It all happens so fast. One second, Jisoo was disgusted by him and the next
She was blushing whenever he looks at her
Jisoo basically couldn't ignore the butterflies in her stomach doing backflips everytime he hugs her or put his arm around her shoulder or smile at her
It was completely a foreign feeling for Jisoo.
One day, his few words make her life to turn upside down. She remembers the day clearly. In was on mid autumn
The cold breeze taping against the window and the crisp wintery sir infiltrating her lungs as she continues to drink her hot chocolate
Reading her favorite book. That was when Jungkook barge in her room
He quickly jump on the bed and something was off
His eyes were different
"Soo, I want to tell you something which I have been hiding from you. Don't get mad, Ik I shouldn't hide but-"
"Don't tell he's going to confess to me ahh OMG"

Jisoo was expecting from him to say 'I like you but instead
"I like your cousin Lia! " He close his eyes as soon as he finished to say those words
Jisoo nodded, she already know that if she opens her mouth her voice would've crack. . .
Jungkook smile, bringing a painful jolt to her heart as he took the hot chocolate which was practically burning her hand at that moment
"I don't know what will I do without you" He said smiling and taking a sip of her drink
Jisoo turn to the other side, stopping her tears to flow just like a waterfall
"If I truly love him then his happiness is my own" Jisoo keep repeating that in her head

Jisoo did help him. There was no way she couldn't. She tried her best in making him as Lia's friend. It works too
For Jisoo, it was quite obvious that Lia had catch some feelings for Jungkook
Like recently, Jisoo heard her talking about him to her friends and when Jisoo told to Jungkook
He went completely ecstatic and started to jump up and down in the school corridor
"Jungkook calm dow-" Jisoo was cut off by him engulfing her into his arms for a Bonecrushing hug.
"Thank you!" He tighten the grip. There was nothing Jisoo could do except for patting his bag awkwardly

It's been a month since Jungkook has told Jisoo that he like her cousin.
The entire month was the hardest month for Jisoo but the happiest for Jungkook.
And to make it more worse he's going to confess to Lia today.
Here, Jisoo was sitting in a coffee shop and waiting for Jungkook to arrive. When he did came, he looks different but still breathtaking.
He was not wearing his usual hoodie with ripped jeans instead he was wearing a button down shirt. His hands was holding a beautiful bouquet.
He looks so cute. It brought a pain to Jisoo that couldn't be express in words.
"Hi! " He sighed, sitting on the chair opposite to her. It was obvious that he was extremely nervous
"So I picked this up on my way" He said, gesturing to the flowers in his hands. "I hope she'll like them, should I do anything else? Is this flower too corny? Should I give more-"
"It's perfect" Jisoo quickly said, sending a bright smile to show that what he was doing was more than enough.
"Fvck, what if she says no? " He ask, brushing his hand through his hair.
"She won't and stop that Or else your hair will be ruin and you'll look like a monkey" Jisoo said smiling from the outside
"Jisoo if she does said yes, then it's all because of you" He said, reaching over the table to hold her hand.
At that moment Jisoo felt as if no one was there, and it was just the two of them in the coffee shop, one winter evening. Jisoo open her mouth to speak "Jungkoo-"
"Oh- there she is! " Jungkook said looking St the glass panel. Jisoo sighed and turn around. Lia was there texting someone as she look around, obviously looking for Jungkook
Jungkook quickly grab the bouquet before looking back to the glass panel. "She looks so beautiful! " Jungkook said, turning to match his gaze, Jisoo nodded
She did look very pretty. Jungkook sighed, " I'd better go. Thanks for everything " He hugs the girl and went towards Lia.
Jisoo saw them talking. She tried to make out what they were saying, but she didn't need to, because the next second they were hugging.
Jisoo never in her entire life have seen Jungkook that much happier at that moment
Before Jisoo knew it, tears were pooling from her eyes again
Frustrated, Jisoo wiped them away before hastily grabbing her jacket and barged out the door.
Jisoo turned to look at them for one last time, at how happy they were.
"Will I ever be able to feel that happiness"
Jisoo was not sure because the only boy jisoo would ever love, doesn't love her back
It's a sickening feeling, knowing that he doesn't feel the same way, Knowing that he will never feel the same way.
