Erika is a beautiful and slender girl for a Viking. Erika has long, wavy sandy-blonde hair that's in a lace braid ponytail. Her eyes are sparkling dark blue, though she has a scar marked over her left eyebrow. While her skin is both fair and lightly tanned from her time in the sun.

She had started wearing a dark blue sleeveless vest on top of a long-sleeved tan tunic and a dark brown belt that holds her horn and a blue scarf around her neck to hide her identity. She has dark brown arm bracers and a pair of dark blue pants that's folded at her dark brown boots.
Biology:
Erika only has her father's hunting horn and her mother's leather brown journal about dragons that she had been given at a young age.
At five years old, she was separated from her real family during a dragon raid and was taken by a Monstrous Nightmare, and was eventually taken to a village who raised her as one of them on the remote island.
When Erika was about seven, the chief had told her about Berk, Berserker Island, dragon raids, and how Erika could someday be the greatest shieldmaiden of the island and friends of dragons. He also told her about the Hidden World; a place where dragons lived at the edge of the world, away from any human civilizations.
One day while playing Maces and Talons with her chief, she excitedly jumped at an opportunity to get ahead, while over looking a weakness she was leaving exposed, leading to her adoptive father winning the game. The girl pouted in disappointment, while her chief reminded her to always think carefully before she takes drastic measures.
When Erika was fifteen years old, she had taken care of a orphaned Night Fury dragon hatchling and naming her Storm. But one day, Erika has accidentally gotten herself caught a Snapper that was left behind some Dragon Trappers — which made her hold a grudge against Dragon Hunters and Dragon Trappers together — and was about to give up from her struggles when a teenage Storm had came over and rescued Erika. Storm had brought Erika to the village to have her leg injury treated and has bonded with Erika.
Sometime later, Erika met Hiccup and Toothless when she was trying to get out of a ice-covered lake. Erika soon respects him for his true self and became close friends with him.
Personality:
Erika is adventurous, independent, headstrong, and often baffles people with her sharp tongue and witty nature. Erika is extremely compassionate and, while not as perceptive as Hiccup Haddock, still possessed a keen intellect just as well. She's very talented and competent, being skilled in a number of dragon fields. She's also skilled at coming up with things quickly and lying effectively, though she never lied if she could avoid doing so. But Erika's an intellectual genius, wise, and very witty. She's a master strategist, using her intellect to outwit her enemies and having uncanny foresight.
She is constantly trying to make her family proud of her, yet sometimes her self-doubt and witty nature can keep her from doing so. Yet, if her friends needs her to, she will put all her fears aside and protect them, sometimes whether they want her to or not. She is also very loyal to those she trusts and respects, as she is willing to risk her life to protect them. She is also a great leader when she needs to be and is completely relentless against an opponent. She also has a sarcastic, mischievous sense of humor.
After figuring out who her father is, she is less emotionally stable and often makes the wrong choices, even if is for what she personally believes to be the right reasons.
Erika is also somewhat spiteful and prone to holding grudges against people. She had also became increasingly unpredictable, some can't tell what she's thinking till the last minute. Nevertheless, she was able to overcome it in the end, eventually showing forgiveness. But Erika can be devious and scheming, willing to play tricks when there are enemies around. She's equally manipulative as well as she is intelligent and cunning.
She also has a love for travelling and exploring the world. Throughout the years, she traveled across the world alongside Hiccup and is knowledgeable about geography. Because of her freedom through travelling, Erika does not like being exposed and having nowhere to hide.
But she takes great pride and defiance in her family and friends, and is willing to "teach" anybody a lesson if they cursed with her name in it by whacking people in the head and glaring so hard that could make people wet themselves as well as she could Loki'd them. She couldn't help, but instantly laugh at anyone who ends up getting smacked in the head by Gothi or jumbo flipped by either Astrid or Heather.
Abilities, Skills, and Talents:
* Strength and Fighting Skills: Erika is pretty tough as she is able to take on Dragon Hunters and Berserker warriors. She had become a proficient and accurate archer as well as she was good at throwing knives and fighting with a sword.
* Dragon Training and Riding: With the time spent with dragon lovers, Erika picked up on the village's Dragon Teachings pretty quickly, as all the wild and tamed dragons have taken a liking to her. Even though she wasn't very fast, she was also capable of flying with Storm. Her skills have improved with her training her own dragon, Storm.
* Leadership: Despite spending most of her life being alone, Erika is a natural-born leader. Most of the time the other riders follow her commands without question.
* Intelligence: This talent is really at the heart of all of Erika's other abilities. Her intelligence is proven many times. She's almost always the one to come up with the solutions to the problems that her friends face. She's shown to be very cunning, resourceful, and perceptive and possesses a great aptitude for strategy and tactics. She's also fairly knowledgeable when it comes to dragons.
* Speed and Acrobatics: These are undoubtedly her top physical skills. She's able to perform a variety of acrobatic feats like handsprings and swift dodges.
* Precision: Like Storm, Erika has an amazing aim. She has been seen shooting arrows to launching knives from her hand with very good accuracy, almost never missing.
* Reflexes: Erika is shown to have pretty good reflexes. She doesn't depend on brute strength, but on speed and agility to take down her enemies.
* Crafting: Erika built and designed her own hut as well as a few flying race tracks, she can also display a few weapon making skills as well.
* Medical Skills: Due to her experience with dragons, Erika showed great skills in tending to humans and dragons that are sick or hurt.
* Dragon Calling: Erika learns to call Rainflight by using different kinds of roars.
* Teaching: Erika is shown to be a calm and yet strict teacher when she attempts to train a new set of Dragon Riders to be a part of the auxiliary team. She is a bit more patient this time around with the backup team and compliments them on their skills as well as on the way they had bonded with their dragons.
* Acting: Erika is a very good actress when she was infiltrating the Dragon Hunters and the Dragon Trappers.
* Singing: Erika is a great singer, able to reach very high notes. She is able to create a song on the spot, easily finding rhymes to her lyrics.
* Athleticism: Erika is great at gymnastic moves such as flipping and tumbling. Erika is great at using rescue vines. She is able to with perfect accuracy get to the place she is aiming for.

Appearance:
She has jet-black scales covering her whole body. His sides and wings have small blue patches in a pattern similar to that of a manta ray. Storm possesses two sets of wings (one main pair and one smaller pair near the base of her tail). The first pair allows her to do a vertical take-off. Behind that is a set of smaller wings that aid in her gliding. At the end of her tail, she used to have two natural tail fins that aided in steering and stability.
Her eyes are bright blue, like pools of sparkling water. They are located very near the front of her face giving her excellent depth perception and reflexes in flight. She can narrow his pupils to slits when threatened or angry, similar to that of a cat. However, when she is docile or happy, her pupils dilate and become more dog-like.
Personality:
Storm is exceptionally intelligent, confident, brave, and caring dragon, though at times she can be profoundly prideful and overconfident. Storm cares deeply for her rider Erika and will protect her from any potential threat.
She is also very loyal to those she trusts and respects, as she is willing to risk her life to protect them. Aside from being a proficient warrior and extremely powerful, Storm is also a great warrior when she needs to be and is completely relentless against an opponent. But she can also be sweet and friendly towards Erika, her friends, and younger dragons. But she can be quite curious when it comes to learning new things.
Storm is very strong-minded and stubborn, showing to be incredibly determined and daring. She has shown many signs of spiritedness, bravery, courage, and dauntlessness. Though, she is very kind-hearted, Storm can be very harsh and judgmental during first meetings, but she is very loyal to those who later had win her approval.
She is usually quite playful and even a little teasing when not threatened. She shows a sense of great curiosity, imitating Erika's actions and mannerisms when they initially encounter one another and can understand Erika's words and commands as well as agree with some of what she says.
Overall, the biggest attributes of Storm's personality come through in her relationship with Erika. Equally protective and loyal, she never hesitates to risk her own life when Erika is put in danger and is more than affectionate when the time calls for it. Her sense of devotion also shows itself when protecting Erika's allies and other friends. There are several points when Storm could choose to save herself or die along with Erika, and she chooses not to leave Erika's side.
Storm, although she cannot speak, shows a lot of emotions through her facial expressions and body language. Storm has even been shown to make a laughing sort of noise and often gives a few critical looks if she doesn't like the looks of something.
Skills, Talents, & Abilities:
Intelligence and Communication Skills: As a Night Fury, Storm's intelligence is unrivalled amongst any other known dragon and often displays the attributes of an incredibly smart and strategic thinker. She exhibits the ability to comprehend human jokes and recognize humor, and she even has her own chortle (her version of a laugh).
Speed and Agility: Storm can fly over one hundred miles per hour and her design. Her aerial acrobatics allow her to escape rather brutal confrontations with little difficulty. Even when not flying, Storm can tear along the ground at terrific speeds and is one of the most agile dragons on land, shown being able to leap from trees, boulders, walls, etc. She have the distinct ability to ride lightning to reach supersonic speeds, while she did this it was seen to travel far faster than any dragon seen before. She's also extremely agile, allowing her to make fast and sharp turns.
Strength and Combat: Storm has shown to be tremendously strong for a dragon of her size, able to hold her own against other larger dragon species. She can carry heavy objects, such as boulders and branches with her front legs alone, as well as heavy set adult humans. When flying at full speed, she can knock down a dragon-proof ballista straight into the sea. As a Strike Class dragon, Storm has a vice-like jaw that can exert great force.
Stamina and Endurance: Storm can fly longer than any other dragon. Storm's bodily tissue is substantially harder than regular dragons. Crossbow bolts and spears have been seen not to penetrate Storm's skin. However, sometimes arrows do penetrate her skin, so some of these instances may be animation errors. She was also able to fly for a short time, despite being shot by a dragon root arrow. Although, she didn't recover quickly like other dragons.
Enhanced Senses: Storm appears to have an uncannily great sense of hearing. This good sense of hearing plays into her ability to use sonar. She also seems to have the ability of night vision though Erika did question when flying into the dark cave so possibly her vision isn't that strong in the dark, specifically in pitch black.
Stealth and Camouflage: Storm's scales and extreme speed make her hard to notice, especially at night or in dark places. Stormstrike can move with silence even in pitch black conditions and be one with darkness.
Cloaking/Lightning Camouflage: Storm can channel lightning which enables her to seemingly disappear temporarily. The lightning that Storm channels around her body will also electrocute anything in her vicinity.
Electrical charges: Storm has the ability to produce electricity from her body and send out small electrical beams. She can also use the electrical charges to increase her speed in flight and not only can she emit electricity, but absorb it into her body making her charges even stronger.
Electrokinesis: While most Dragons use fire as their ranged attacks, Storm is one of the few dragons to use electricity instead. She absorbs lightning from the clouds, hence the reason she's often seen during thunderstorms, and can redirect it from her mouth. She can recharge her lightning and store it in her body for use at a later of time. Storm can also create an electrical field that acts similarly to a force field.
Flame Jacket: Storm demonstrates the ability to set herself alight with blue electricity, similar to a Monstrous Nightmare.
Synchronization: Storm and Erika can fly together in perfect sync. Not only that, but they also understand each other the best out of all dragons and Riders, which was demonstrated several times.
