The screen showed the words: "Three Years Later."
The scene changes to a stormy sky. Torrents of rain poured down from the stormy skies. Dark storm clouds swirled in the sky, flickering with swift lightning and rumbling with powerful thunder. It was late in the evening, the full moon peaked out of the departing dark clouds. The stars sparkled like distant diamonds in the night sky. And from it, a pair of black specks rockets from the stormy clouds. The image of unbridled freedom. Tucked into his riding position, Hiccup appears to be part of Toothless.
"Wow!" It was the only thing everyone in the room could say and think. It was truly incredible! Even Stoick could not help, but feel amazed by this.
"Yeah!" He jackknife, heading upward, rolling and tumbling through the stormy cloud-scapes and joining high-flying three friendly Skrills as they soar in formation. He was wearing a dark brown leather armor over a long-sleeved red tunic with brown arm brackets and double-layered shoulder guards (one of them has a red Night Fury symbol on his right shoulder) and dark reddish-brown pants that ends at his brown boots.
Everyone was oohing and aahing at the tricks the pair was doing. Flying upwards, downwards, spinning and free falling was amazing! And the dragon looked happy! He was waggling his tongue for Thor's sake! It was definitely surprising.
Stoick could not believe his son could do all that. He was still unhappy with what was going on, but he was definitely proud. These stunts were clearly hard to imitate.
His new friends all looked at Hiccup with unmistakable adoration. They all saw their flying, but now they knew who was undoubtedly the best.
Hiccup was clearly embarrassed by all the attention he was getting, but not Toothless. He got up and jumped a bit trying to draw everyone's attention, before straightening his posture, trying to show off. The some of the people laughed at his antics. Even Stoick cracked a smile.
"Whoa! This is getting out of hand!" Hiccup exclaimed as he and Toothless barely dodged another strike of lightning, illuminating his face.
Everyone looked stunned. Hiccup looked... amazing. Puberty really did well here. He definitely turned out to be handsome. Ruffnut even looked at future Hiccup dreamily while Astrid blushed. She definitely liked what he has become. The problem for Astrid was that Erika already made a headway in liking who he was now.
"Turned out alright, didn't you?" Gobber said, which received plenty of chuckles in response. Stoick was also happy to see his son turn out so well. Dragon Tam...Trainer, and a brave, handsome young man? Would never have seen that coming.
Hiccup admitted he liked what he saw. He knew that Gobber was right. He turned out okay, something he did not expect.
The screen soon fixed on Erika riding on a newly saddled Storm. Her blue eyes illuminated against the lightning, while Storm's blue eyes seemed to be shining with blue electricity. She jackknife, heading upward, rolling and tumbling through the stormy cloud-scapes and joining high-flying with their companions. She's now wearing a dark blue sleeveless vest on top of a long-sleeved tan tunic and a dark brown belt that holds her horn and a blue scarf around her neck. She has dark brown arm bracers and a pair of dark blue pants that's folded at her dark brown boots.
The looks she received from the young men were less divisive. They stared with widened eyes and mouths opened ajar, some even winked and flexed their muscles which reminded her of Snotlout. She rolled her eyes at the sight and looked away, clearly unimpressed, much to Hiccup's amusement.
"Hiccup, we must get out of here!" The camera follows the two of them as they fly through the clouds, giving both of them a close-up.
The dark dragon lets out a roar as she turns upside down and begins to descend back towards the storm only to level back out and starts flying higher, spinning and twirling in the air.
Many kids laughed while adults looked on in awe. Their flying was spectacular!
Above the clouds, she spreads her wings and stops. Erika holds the saddle with one hand and looks behind them as Storm gives off a happy smile at the camera and falls backward.
A lot of "aww's" were heard through the room at the dragon's cuteness.
Erika smiled and patted her best friend who warbled and curled up beside her.
She twirls and begins to level out once again, soaring through the stormy clouds and levels them out to look at Hiccup and Toothless. "As much as I enjoy this, I don't want you to be electrified." As if to prove her point, a strike of lightning flashed through the stormy sky and narrowly missing them.
Elinor placed a hand over her heart while Fergus was fanning her. Merida saw it and tried to keep her giggling at bay.
Everyone was tensed when they saw what the two Dragon Riders and their dragons were flying through the thunderstorm.
Hiccup gaze her a quick nod. "I see your point. Erika, lead the way."
Erika nodded with a smile and took the lead. It didn't take long to learn that Erika and Hiccup both know how to navigate through storms. They jackknife, heading upward, rolling and tumbling through the cloud-scapes and they soar in formation.
Everyone was stunned at the sight of it all. Hiccup and Erika were greater than anyone had thought.
It wasn't long till they had found a great forest zooming underneath them. Hiccup caught Erika's eye and he nodded to her, in which she returns it with a smile.
They soon both dove towards the forest. But before they landed, the two dragons spread their wings, catching some wind as they lightly landed on the ground.
Erika was taken in by the beauty of the natural world. She couldn't remember the last time she saw a forest. There were some things she couldn't remember, but for the first time, she was partly thankful for her amnesia as it allowed her to experience a forest as if it were for the first time all over again.
The branches rocked to the silent rhythm of the breeze and leaves were carried off by the wind, spinning and twirling like tiny dancers as they fell. In front of them was a grassy field and a small waterfall that was making a river. They could also see a few woodland critters scampering through the clearing as they returned home. Some foxes went into a burrow. They spotted a couple of deer bounding away. Squirrels and chipmunks scattered about, grabbing their acorns to stash inside their tree-trunk homes and went into hiding. From above the birds started flying back to their nests. It was calm and peaceful around them in the gentle forest clearing.
"Mommy! It's so pretty!" A little Coronian girl cried out to her mother, pointing at the screen in her exclamation. The mother smiled sweetly, as did Rapunzel, as she couldn't help, but watch.
Hiccup looked around, wary curiosity is vivid in his green eyes. "It's amazing."
"Yeah." She gazed around, her blue eyes gleaming with careful caution. "It's beautiful." Erika started brushing off some of the rain from her sleek and wet hair. "But we have to hide out for a while till it clears up."
After about ten minutes of searching, there was a gush of wind. Erika shivered and wrapped her arms around herself, while Storm placed a wing on top of her to shield her from the rain.
Hiccup gazes around the clearing when he spotted someone watching them in one of the trees.
The camera shows a full view of the boy's appearance. The boy had pale skin that looked freezing to the touch, wore brown trousers, no shoes and a blue hoodie speckled with frost on the shoulders. His hair was white as snow and his eyes were an icy blue. In his hand, he was holding a Shepard's crook that was also covered in frost.
This was Jack Frost.
Jack gasped.
"What?" Hiccup asked him.
"Who are you?" Jack narrowed his eyes in confusion, and looked behind him, before looking back at him, and pointed at himself. "Yeah, who else? The tree?"
Sounds of quiet laughter and chucking could be heard at Hiccup's dry reply.
The boy's mouth dropped open and he slowly walked towards Hiccup. Once he was about a foot away from him. "Y-You can see me?"
Hiccup eyed him with wary confusion and curiosity, but held his gaze. "Umm... Yes?"
Jack smiles. No, beams as bright as the full moon. "Someone sees me. Someone sees me!" He lets out a whoop of delight and does a backflip, surprising the two Dragon Riders and the two Dragons even more.
Jack does the exact same thing, jumping into the air and letting out large whoops of delight. Guardians smiled softly, though Bunny hid his, while everyone just looked at the excited spirit in surprise and curiosity.
"He's not the only one." Erika and the two Dragons stepped forward, trying to shield themselves from the rain. "We all can see you."
Jack's eyes shone with amazed joy. He lets out a whoop of delight and does a backflip, surprising the two Dragon Riders and the two Dragons yet again.
Guardians smiled softly, though Bunny hid his, while everyone just looked at the excited spirit in surprise and curiosity.
"Who are you?" Hiccup asked him curiously.
"Jack. Jack Frost!" he told them excitingly, happy beyond repair that someone can finally see him.
Hiccup's eyes widened and Erika seemed surprised, while the dragons were both curious. "Jack Frost? As in the Winter Spirit 'Jack Frost'? Prove it."
Jack nodded with a sly smirk. Jack stood up as he lifted his left hand and made a snowball. He then threw it in the air. It then exploded into snow.
They stared at it in surprise and Hiccup gently caught a snowflake in his hands. "Cool."
Jack grinned. "I can't believe someone actually believes in me. How come you believe in me?"
"I guess after seeing some miracles before, you start believing in a lot of things," admitted Hiccup.
"You got that right." Erika still remembers the miracle of meeting Hiccup and Toothless, along with Storm.
"You got that right," Erika confirmed with a nod, a smile graced her features.
"Um, Jack do you know where we could find some shelter for the night? Big enough to hold, me, Erika and a pair of dragons?" Hiccup asked.
"Dragons? Yeah, follow me," Jack Frost answered calmly.
The Dragon Riders and the Dragons exchanged swift glances and started following Jack Frost deeper into the forest.
