Raya looked at the device she was given. She had never seen it before and was left clueless about what to do with it. By the time she looked up her spy was gone. There was barely enough time to shove the device into the nearest pocket before being dragged out of the gate without being noticed. The captain knew that she would be forcibly kicked out of the Central City, but what she wasn't counting on was-
WHACK!!
A blow to the back of the head.
"Raya!!" Ádomás shouted.
'Aw, fuck...' she thought before blacking out.
"You fucking bastard!" Selena yelled. She started to run and shove her way towards her lover, and since she was running towards the gate no one bothered to stop her. The triggered young woman made a motion to jump-kick the guard who knocked her out only to be tackled to the ground by a small body.
"Selena, don't!" Her younger brother's voice spat at her, fear heavily present.
"The boy's right," Ádomás spat. "As much as I would FUCKING LOVE TO, attacking the guards would be riskin' our lives even more. Don't be rash."
"You serious?" Selena spat.
"Selena," Ádomás snapped. "No."
"Fine," the girl growled, helping herself and Juan up.
"Hey, they brought trucks!" Juan shouted, seemingly in joy. "We won't have to walk!"
"And you're happy about that?" the seasoned warrior quipped. "That's so retarded!"
"C'mon," a Brigade soldier said. "Gotta go. And I'll make sure Raya rides with you."

The swarm of trucks stopped just a few miles away from the city walls, preparing to dump the abandoned. They parked messily and quickly opened their trunks in a hurry to empty them. Some of the guards were kind and actually human, helping the people in their trucks out gently. Others, albeit emotionless, were still kind, while the others were just straight-up assbags. One of the guards driving Raya's truck literally threw her out of it.
SWOOMF!
THUDDD!
"Hey, asshole! Wat- GAAAHHH!!
THUD!
TMMP!
"Are you ok, mister?" a soft voice rang from behind. The voice flowed from that of a young boy, and it was coated in an odd yet cute accent. "Let me help you up. Aaaaand..." he dragged, reaching into his back pocket after lifting the man. "I stole a Medkit! Use it to check on the Kapitänin! And hurry! Before one of the schattenmänner see it."
"'Schattenmänner'?" Ádomás asked.
"The people in the trucks, the shadow men," the young child explained, starting to run. "Hurry, hurry!"
"Wait- Gah!"
Ádomás quickly scurried to his feet, trying his best to hide the Medkit as he made his way over to Raya. Juan had carried her to the unseen side of one of the further trucks and showed Ádomás the way once he found the latter. Chaos continued in the background, with screams, cries, curses, and threats of being shot by the guards. Ádomás roughly looked over the unconscious captain and noticed a large wound on her stomach and the back of her head; upon further examination, they were only flesh wounds, not going deep enough to cause any harm.
"Juan," the elven soldier called. "You know medical, right? Come help the captain, I'll stand watch."
"Give me the kit," the young boy called, kneeling by Raya. Mama Thatcher ran over, frantic, worried, and scared. She was severely out of breath and was searching the area in a hectic manner.
