Rainier, also known as Blue in some circles, tended to be a quiet woman, though on occasion, she was loud. And when she was loud, lord help us all.

"I don't care if Marriott said Dora can't be on the team, she will be playing soccer!"
"But ma'a-"
"But nothing! Get my daughter a jersey before I ring your neck."
The originally golden coloured woman had paled out to a mellow creme, before fainting at the intensity of Rainier icy glare.
"Oh, dear." Rainier helped Danielle, the poor woman, up, and into a chair in the waiting room.
"Uh, momma?"
The azure lady turned around to her adorable, kinky haired, verdant daughter. "Yep, Dorothy?"
The short little girl pointed to the door. "Miss Mary is here."
Rainier's mouth gaped as she saw Danielle's boss, Marriott, standing in the doorway.
"Uh, Mrs. Magellan..."
The rouge woman shook her head. "Just leave, Blue."
Rainier dropped her head. "As you say. Come, Dora."
The green toddler wobbled after her, skipping happily down the hallway after her mother. The cute little girl saw nothing wrong with what had happened just earlier, as she tottered after Rainier.

In another side of town, a orange girl got slammed against the side of a brick building outside her school, as a close friend of hers bit her neck, rutting up against her.
Tara, the tangerine girl, moaned. "Scarlett..."
The ruddy coloured girl silenced her in a smothering kiss, maroon red lipstick evenly distributed between their lips.
Tara's legs wrapped around Scarlett's curvy waist, as Scarlett steadied her against the bricks.
"Oh, fuck!" A boy, who had incidentally walked into the clearing outside the cafeteria to study, immediately clapped his hands over his eyes.
Tara fell from Scarlett on surprise, immediately tearing out of the clearing.
Scarlett pitched after her, yelling. "Tara! We need to talk!"
Tara was crying as she was running. She sprinted to the bleachers, eventually coming to a stop and sitting on them before hunching over sobbing in confusion.
Scarlett walked over silently, unnoticed until she sat by Tara. Tara stopped whimpering and just sighed.
Scarlett spoke up without looking. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah," Tara answered monotonically.
"Look, if you don't wanna date me, I get it. Just know I love you, and I'll be there if you need me."
Tara looked up at her as she walked away, unsure what to do. Then the bell rang and they were rushed back to their classes anyhow.

As a dinner table was set, a TV was shut off and meals were passed around.
"So, Tara, how was your day?" Rainier asked. This was the one day a week when Tara stayed at the Ellis household instead of her usual one at her mothers.
"Fine." At that was that.
Blue and Orange had never gotten along, and never would.
Yellow, or Boris, tried to help the atmosphere. "Rainy, did you get Dorothy into soccer?" Fail.
Rainier sighed. "No, and Marriott isn't going to let her anytime soon."
"Daddy, today I built a house with my Legos! Wanna see it?" Dorothy, the green child, glimmered with mirth.
Yellow smiled. "Not right no-"
Dorothy heaved the behemoth-like mansion over unto the dinner table.
"Christ," Boris breathed.
Tara laughed. "Nice 'house' there, sport. You would make an A plus architect."
Green's eyes widened and she squealed. "Thank you!"
Rainier smiled softly.

Still a horrible day, but not as much as it could have been.
