Tyler is currently helping set up cameras for a new type of video that probably won't be shared online, but to family and close friends.
Archer has asked to make a cooking video on vegan food. He's interested in trying vegan things and loves animals, so to him, it makes sense.
Rory is his 'helper' for today! If the video does get posted, Tyler can always blur out faces and edit it with unique camera shots.
Archer fixes his hair, then washes his hands, and Rory comes over to stand on a learning tower so she can watch and help.
"Are we ready?" Tyler asks, helping Archer get an apron on.
"Now we are! Right, Rory?" Archer asks happily.
"Yeah!" Rory claps her hands excitedly. She loves food of all sorts.
"I'm so happy to be doing this, Mommy!" Archer says with a big grin.
"I'm so glad! This is going to be fun!" Tyler says with excitement.
"Aaaaaa!" Rory yells happily causing Tyler and Archer to both giggle.
"Rory, silly girl! You forgot to tell the camera what food it is!" Archer laughs.
"Make 'za!" Rory cheers.
"Yes, we're making vegan pizza!" The boy cheers as well.
Archer prepares the ingredients, something he has been loving to do lately. Tyler and Korey appreciate the help he does in the kitchen, usually while the other kids do anything else.
"Dough! It come from a store!" Hazel says as she appears out of nowhere.
"Yes, that's right! Wanna roll it out?" Archer says happily.
"Yeah, I do!" Hazel says and comes to help.
While Hazel rolls the pizza dough out eagerly and energetically, Archer takes time explaining vegan foods.
"Even eggs can be unkind to animals, but I don't really mind most of the time. We get humane eggs. And milk! I love treating animals compassionately. They deserve it!" Archer mentions with passion.
"Now we add some tomato sauce!" Archer instructs, spooning some on part of the raw pizza.
"Tomato sauce!" Hazel shouts and dumps a lot of the marinara on top.
"Oh, not that much! Oops! We'll just spread it out more." Archer giggles.
"Eeee!" Rory says and pours a lot of vegan cheese on the pizza.
"Rory! Ah! We were gonna do that in a minute." Archer gets a bit annoyed, but instead of being angry, tickles the baby and grins.
Tyler laughs quietly from behind the cameras, amused at the little kids.
"After we add all of the ingredients, we need to get our oven ready! Make sure you have a parent with you to help! Mom, can you help me with the oven, please?" Archer says to the camera and then at Tyler.
Tyler smiles at Archer, proud of his boy that is growing up so fast and into a beautiful person.
"Sure! Hazel, Rory, stay with Archie!" Tyler says as Archer holds Rory and Hazel stands behind Archer.
"Oven hot!" Hazel warns.
"Hah!" Rory copies.
"Yes, the oven is very hot! That's why Mom is helping us with this part!" Archer says to his sisters.
Tyler uses a hot pad to move the oven rack out, and puts on mitts as he carefully places the pizza in. Archer closes the door.
"Now we set a timer! How long?" Archer asks Hazel, always asking her questions as much as she asks him things.
"A wong time!" Hazel says as Archer giggles.
"Let's see! The recipe says twenty minutes! Now let's set the timer!" Archer says as he sets the oven's timer.
"YAY!" Hazel yells happily as she claps her hands.
"Aaaaa!" Rory yells happily as well.
The three kids do some dancing for a minute, then Archer starts to clean up the mess the ingredients made.
"It's always important to clean up as you go! Or whenever you have some time like this!" Archer explains, and Hazel nods seriously, which Rory also copies, looking adorable.
"Let's put on some music! What should we listen to?" Archer asks happily.
"Baby Shark!" Hazel says cheekily.
"Oh no, not baby shark!" Tyler says jokingly.
"Yeah.. What about.." Archer trails off.
"Go! Boo woo!" Rory requests very loudly.
"You want Back Off Boogaloo by Ringo again, Rory?" Tyler asks happily.
"Aaa!" Rory squeals happily as she claps her hands.
"Rory loves The Beatles just like I do!" Archer says to the camera as Hazel pouts.
"We can listen to your song next, Hazzy!" Archer says to Hazel.
"Otay! Sure!" Hazel agrees, instantly dancing as Tyler sets up the music on his phone, the recognizable drumbeat starting.
Rory dances too, very enthusiastically as she hums along.
The song ends after a few minutes, and they dance to Baby Shark next, Archer checking on the pizza meanwhile.
"Ooh, it's looking good, nice and cheesy." Archer tells the camera and Tyler does a close-up.
Soon, the timer beeps after a few more songs and Tyler gets the pizza out of the oven while Hazel pushes stop on the alarm.
"Thank you so much, Hazzy!" Archer says as he kisses his little sister.
Rory babbles, wanting Archer to kiss her too. Archer smiles at Rory before giving her some kisses.
"And that's how you make a vegan pizza!" Archer explains eagerly, Rory clapping in delight.
"We try some now!" Hazel says after a few minutes, just as Korey and Sparrow come home.
"Daddy! Sparrow!" Hazel cheers, hugging her family.
"Hello, Hazel! This food looks so good! Did you help?" Korey asks and she nods.
"We're making a video of how to make pizza! It's vegan!" Archer tells Korey.
Rory is still dancing and singing along to the music in the background, which is quieter now but still there.
"Ooh, looks great." Korey smiles.
"Okay, we can try some now. It's cooled down a bit." Tyler says when Hazel asks again.
"Yeah, let's try a bite for the camera, then we can eat dinner!" Sparrow offers.
Archer, Sparrow, Hazel, Tyler and Korey all happily enjoy a piece of the pizza while Rory plays with her piece!
For the rest of the night, the Oakley-Kuhls enjoy the pizza and spend much needed time together as a family! :)
