Bai Feng Jiu and Doug Hua were exploring Bihai Changling one beautiful evening. It had been almost 1,000 years since the fight with Miao Luo that almost cost them both their lives.

Gun Gun is currently studying in Qing Qiu with Zhen Yan. Since neither of them had something important to do they decided to have some one on one time exploring the paradise of Doug Hua's birth. Or rather Feng Jiu was exploring while Doug Hua simply followed.

"I don't think I will ever get use to how beautiful this place is." Feng Jiu commented.

As they wandered up the mountain Feng Jiu spotted a cave and went over to it. "What is in here?" She inquired eagerly.

"Here was my very 1st home." Doug Hua said as he followed her in. With a flick of his wrist the whole place lit up in a light purple glow.

Feng Jiu's eyes widened as she saw the un natural grove in the wall with old grass bundles laid across it, making a primitive bed.

There was an old bamboo table that looked like it might turn to dust if Feng Jiu touched it.

Some primitive tools like a spear, grass baskets, and stone hatchet; are leaning up against a wall.

In the back of the cave was a small bunch of beautiful rimstone pools that glowed a light blue.

Feng Jiu looked around in fascination but also had a strange sense of familiarity.

"Will you tell me about your life back then?" Feng Jiu asked.

"Hmm well I emerged from the Holy blue sea when I as a kid. My first breath was when I was washed up on the beach of Bihai Changling. I appeared just slightly older then Gun Gun does at the moment, so I suppose I could have passed for a 2,000 year old." Doug Hua started sitting down on the old bed. Feng Jiu came over and sat with him.

"I spent my 1st 4,000 years alone teaching myself basic survival and cultivation. It all came pretty naturally as Bihai Changling provides natural sources of both to draw from." He continued.

"It was extremely lonely to be here all by myself for years but for the longest time I didn't even know there was more out there. Not until I was about 4,500 years old."

"You see Bihai Changling doesn't have the same protection around it then that it does now. As you learned the first time you came out, the pure energy that radiates off of it cast an illusion over it so that it is not seen when out in the waters."

"But the protective ward added to the illusion that only grants access to those I permit was somthing I established later on." Doug explained.

Feng Jiu nodded in understanding. "So what happened when you were 4,500 years old?" Feng Jiu asked curiously as she rested her head on her knees and peered up at him.

Doug Hua gave an affectionate smile pulling her to lay on his lap while he pet her hair in a calming manner.

"A small ship of 15 demons stumbled upon Bihai Changling. They seemed to be heading in a random direction for exploration and ended up sailing right into Bihai Changling." Doug Hua said his gaze gaining a far off look.

"When I first saw creatures who looked similar to me, I became very excited and ran right up to them. But they started to yell at me and beat me up."

"I don't know exactly what happened then, but a surge of power suddenly filled me out of nowhere which then blasted out of me in a powerful wave of energy."

"I lost consciousness after that and when I awoke I was completely healed and the demons were gone. But so was a few foling flower trees and other things." Doug Hua said leaving Feng Jiu's heart grieved at his words.
