Chapter 2

A few hours after the discussion with Xiao Bai's family, Doug Hua returned from the Western Sea with the mirror they made in the Dream of Aranya.

The Fox Clan gathered around in the room Feng Jiu was in. Doug Hua pulled out the mirror and sent a piece of paper in it to see Feng Jiu's birth for himself.

"I wonder what that flash of red magic was. It has to be the reason the spell went wrong." Bai Qian pondered outloud.

"It was Maio Luo." Doug Hua replied then sent another piece of paper into the mirror.

Miao Luo and Doug Hua stood facing across from each other. Both stood on an asteroid floating in the galaxy above the demon and immortal realms.

Miao Luo summoned broken asteroids around her. Fire incased them as they swerled in a circle before being thrown straight at Doug Hua.

Doug Hua used is own magic to create a shield in front of himself. He held it in front of himself for a moment, while he charged is own magic.

Once charged Doug Hua blasted himself forward, right through the center of the asteroids Miao Luo was throwing.

Canghe, glowing with power plunged right into Miao Luo's heart. Everything went still around them for a moment. Miao Luo released two drops of qi in the form of blood drops and watched as one fell into the demon lands, and one into Fairy Mountain.

She then looked at Doug Hua, an evil smile spread across her face. "No matter how sharp the Cenghe sword is. No matter how high a position you hold. You cannot not just kill me."

Miao Luo then grabbed Cenghe and pulled it all the way through her, before slapping the sword to try to rebound Doug Hua's own magic and send him flying.

However the blast simply phased threw Doug Hua. That is when he revealed the stone in his hand.

"You're actually using the soul locking jade to chain me down?" Miao Luo asked mockingly she then threw her head back and started laughing maniacally.

But then foling flower pedals start to rain down around them. Miao Luo looks at Doug Hua furiously. "Doug Hua you are using your cultivation to seal me?!" She demanded indignantly.

Barring her teeth angerly she tries to throw a spell at him. Already maintaing two powerful spells. Doug Hua was only able to deflect it away. He waved the soul locking jade in front of him adapting the spell he was using to hold her in place to throw the spell away from him.

The spell went flying into Fairy Mountain while Miao Luo shouted angrily.

"Wait and see! The day I break the seal will be the doom of you the 4 seas and the 8 deserts! I will make you watch as everything you care about becomes a living hell!" Miao Luo declared as she was sealed away.

Doug Hua sighed as he watched the scene in front of him. "In an attempt to prevent me from sealing her away, Miao Luo had tried to cast a time warping spell on me." He explained to the fox clan.

"I deflected it away from me and sent it flying into Fairy Mountain. After the battle I went looking for both qi's and the spell. I found the blood tear in the demon realm, but couldn't find the other qi or the time spell."Doug Hua continued looking thoughtful.

"Later on, as you all already know; I discovered the 2nd qi had sealed itself into Xiao Bai's birthmark but I still never found what happened to the time warping spell. However it seems it followed the qi of its owner then merged with the spell Zhe Yan was casting to preserve Xiao Bai's primordial spirit." Doug Hua concluded.
