"Hello Ronal." You smiled at the woman and walked towards her not before waving bye to Aonung. "Hello Ka'la come we have much to talk about. Also I see you like the gift my son helped design for you." I gasped as we walked back to the mauri.
"Tsireya didn't tell me he helped design it. I would've thanked him today." Ears tilted down a bit as a hand rested on my shoulder. "You can thank him when he comes back from his duties." I nodded as we entered the mauri and sat down near a few leaves, fish, fruit, and the small fire pit in the mauri.
"So how was your sleep?" Ronal asked with a pointed look on her face as I groaned and grabbed the baskets of banana leaves and other foods. "I slept alright I think aonung was mad that I was next to him." I explained as I started wrapping the fish and fruit in the banana leaves making sure there was enough for all of Ronal's family. "He's not mad I think he's scared and trying...it was hard trying to find him a future tsahik. He didn't like any of them. When you and your family showed up he was watching you." She smiled as she rubbed her baby bump.
"Watching me? What does that have to do with anything?" I asked as I finished wrapping up the food and started the fire. "Have you seen the way your father looks at your mother or the way tonowari looks at me?" She asked as she grabbed the wrapped leaves and placed them in the fire pit as I nodded.
"That's how he looked at you Ka'la. He might not admit it or show it but he's not mad at you he's scared." I just listened taking in the information. "I'll keep that in mind." I mumbled as I sat back on my legs.
"Would you like to take some of the food to your siblings?" I looked at the food that was already done and sat aside in a basket. "If that's alright with you." My mind was still on the previous topic. "Take the basket child and if you see Aonung on the to your family tell him I said to come home." She spoke handing me the basket as I nodded.
