It's been a week now...
Everything was so much for different...
Life felt easier with no demons and better intelligence and modernized items.

"Muichiro..."

"Y/N..." He repeated my name and turned his head over to me with a questioning expression.

We were both in our room, he had one of the cats in his arms as he sat down on the bed while watching TV.

"We should go look for the pocket watch back at the alleyway." I suggested to him as I was making a bracelet. One bead on the string after the other...

"I've looked twice." He said blandly. I turned around quickly in my chair to face him. Why hasn't he told me?

"Well... where could it be?" I huffed before I slapped my hand on my face, rubbing my temples... this was my fault. I felt so guilty... now Muichiro is trying to deal with the problem I caused.

For this past week me and Muichiro would still train in the woods for when we headed back home in our own time period, but in our free time we would be here in this lady's apartment with her cats. We noticed she was rarely home, made sense because she was a hard working business lady.
Only thing she's asked from us was to take care of her cats.

I took my hands off of my face looking at Muichiro who was already looking at me. I couldn't read his expression, he looked intimidating as his expression was serious and I could tell he was thinking.

"We can check again."

I smiled a bit at his words, it felt so selfish of me to stay here and enjoy this type of life while back at home everyone was fighting demons off and getting hurt by the second.

We left the apartment and locked it, we walked for about 15 minutes and made it to the alleyway we first appeared at.

There was a man there already, his back was facing us. He looked a bit suspicious as he was crouched down; he seemed like he found something intriguing to him.
I walked over to him, thinking he probably found the pocket watch. He quickly stood up and turned around, looking down at me.

"Can I help you?" His voice sounded deep but I couldn't understand his language

"Can I help you?" His voice sounded deep but I couldn't understand his language. This man was quite attractive and I felt speechless for a second.
His hair hung low over his eyes... they seemed to almost be the same color as Muichiro's but they looked nothing a like.

(So this stranger speaks English and you and Muichiro speak Japanese.)

I looked down at his hand and I was right. He has my pocket watch in his hand. I pointed at it, "That's mine, can I have it back?" I spoke strictly and narrowed my eyes at him.

He smirked for a second as his gentle eyes met mine, "I see.."

(He speaks Japanese as well... so any language in English I will underline)
