Y/N:

Great..

Just Fucking Great...

It's pouring rain... the thunder constantly is roaring in the sky violently. I was getting rained on and felt absolutely soaked.
The roads were empty; mainly because of the bad weather.
I had no umbrella... which made this even worse.

I constantly felt shivers, it wasn't because I was just cold but it was so dark.. It felt like someone was following me as I was walking back to the alley way from before.
Luckily I was a demon slayer... I was on high alert as I walked the side walk.

I made it to the alleyway but the weather still hasn't gotten any better, the only source of light I really had was from the lighting.

"What am I doing..?" I clicked my tongue and looked at the pocket watch in my hand.
Clearly this guy wouldn't be out here in the thunderstorm.

"We meet again."

I spoke to soon.

I hear deep chuckle behind me and quickly turn around. My wet hair hung low over my shoulders and I looked up at him from behind my wet long lashes..
My teeth clenched as I was holding back tears at this point.
I didn't even hear his foot steps, the sole of his shoes made no noise as he took each step on the ground.. the small water puddles didn't even make a sound...

It was strange that he was here once again, but late at night... there was only one small shop a couple of blocks down.
I looked down feeling disappointed in myself.. I was a nice person but I punched this guy for no reason..

I then looked up at him and seen the dark bruise on his cheek bone. I could almost barley notice from how dark it was.
I almost didn't even realize it wasn't raining no more.. or so I thought. He just held an umbrella over both of our heads.

"I'm sorry." My voice cracked a bit and I felt embarrassed as it was obvious. He held his hand out like he was expecting me to give him something.

I knew exactly what he wanted. I gently put the pocket watch in his hand and he put it in his pocket. His coat seemed quite fancy but old and classy at the same time.

"All is forgiven."

His voice was gentle yet sounded serious, he spoke Japanese and I couldn't understand English.. so why speak it?

"I owe you an explanation; you owe me one too. I'm not sure why you stole my watch just to return it an hour later."
He looks down at me with gentle eyes then turned his body away from me as he started walking and I walked next to him.

He was tall and I was able to keep up with his pace. I just listened to him as we both continued to talk to each other.

"See that shop down there? It's an antique shop, I work there with my grandmother. She has amazing stories to tell from the past." He chuckled thinking about it. It made me smile a bit, that was sweet of him to help out his grandmother.
"This pocket watch was my fathers. He left when I was young and I can't bare to see it anymore. I went to throw it away by the dumpsters but then came back for it.. I miss him."

His story hurt my heart and I clutched my hand over my chest. Living in this time period makes me realize a lot. It's sad that parents still abandon you in this much calmer life period.
Civilians don't know how lucky they are here...

"Both of my parents abandoned me as well. An old man raised me, I see him as my grandpa. He's taught me a lot and I'm very skilled as him now." I had a frown on my face that turned up into a gentle smile as I mentioned my grandpa. "I took the pocket watch because... I thought I could find a way of getting back home." It was silent for a moment before he continued to speak.
