I thought that my life was finally getting a tad bit better,
But unfortunately all the assignments and project reports that were due made me rethink the thought that I had thunk.

I released yet another sigh as I walked from the college to my new part time job, which was at a ten-minute distance from there.

Wiping the sweat from my forehead with my sleeve, I kept walking until I noticed a tiny grey cat napping comfortably under the shade of a tree.
I halted my steps to observe it.
I felt jealous. Of a cat.
If I would have been given a chance of swapping lives with that feline. I would have done it in a heartbeat.

I scoffed at myself and continued walking. Before entering the coffee shop, I wished that yunho would have already reached there, because I don't want to have another awkward conversation with the other staff members.

I entered the place and was relieved to see the taller standing behind the counter. I gave him my signature dimpled smile.
He returned my smile with his own.
Sometimes I feel like he literally exudes sunshine. Even if I have met him a few times, I knew that this person was too pure and innocent for this world.

"Hi San, are you prepared for your first day at your job?"
He asked me as I wore my uniform.

"I guess so, but I need to know how this works."
I point to the billing machine.

"Oh, don't worry I will teach you everything. The only thing you need to worry about is the customers. Our boss does not tolerate ill behaviour towards customers."

I look at him with apprehensive eyes.
"but what if it's a, you know......the karen type?"
He scrunched his nose.
"We will see then."

Yunho stretched his arms in preparation.
"Well then, let's get started. Our shift is going to begin in fifteen minutes. For now, you have to just memorize the prices of the items on the menu. I will manage in the meantime."

I gave him a grateful look.
"Thank you so much, I owe you my life, my comics and my cat."
I dramatically wiped a tear as he chuckled while covering his mouth with his large hand.

"Wait, YOU HAVE A CAT?!"
He exclaimed in surprise.

"Yeah, her name is byeol." I stated proudly.

"But, how does she live in your absence?"

"Actually she lives with my sister these days, because I am finding a place to stay. Not gonna lie, I miss her very much."

"Aww I think I melted a little. Don't worry you will meet her soon."
He gave my shoulder a reassuring rub.

Our shift began and we both went to the counter, ready to face the customers who were already flooding at the front to place their orders. I immediately went to the billing counter while yunho was standing behind to supervise me and help me take up the orders correctly.
