One of the Gods softly put his finger in the water before licking some of it off.
"It's salty. It's sea water." "Huh? Sea water?"
The two Gods stopped.
"The sea...?" "Does that mean...?" "The Gods' next fighter is..."
- Within the tunnels -
"Kojiro." The male jolted as he looked back at (Y/n). "... How are you going so far?" He softly tensed down, smiling faintly. "I would think I'm pretty okay for now. Though, still a bit sore from the beating you guys put me through." Kojiro stretched slightly. "However, all in all, I'm a little bit nervous..." He chuckled. "You'll do just fine." (Y/n) softly crossed their arms. "This is Humanity's chance to show that they're more capable of what Gods think we are." Kojiro softly sighed. "Don't they see enough from you?" He questioned. "Do you think a half Android is that respected by Gods?" Kojiro frowned softly. "Hey, that shouldn't be happening. You shouldn't let them step all over you." He spoke. "It'll be fine." (Y/n) replied. They shook their head. "You'll need to worry about yourself soon enough." There was a gentle knock on the door, allowing for the pair to look back at it. Adam and Lü Bu had stepped in, with Chen and Randgriz following after. "Hey there. How's it going?" The blond questioned. "We're here to wish luck!" Chen spoke. Randgriz nodded in agreement. "Anxious, but ready." Kojiro smirked faintly while looking over at the boat by the water. "(Y/n), Hermes wanted to see you for something." Adam spoke. "In a bit." The Android then looked towards Kojiro, walking towards him. "You'll be fine. I'll be putting my faith in you. But in case..." (Y/n) softly held their hand towards the male's chest, now absorbing his spirit into golden particles.
"New Unit Data: Kojiro Sasaki. Soul: Awakened Preferable Type: Battler / Scanner"
"Is Hrist here too?" Kojiro blinked, but nodded. "Naturally. What'd you just do?" He questioned. "They absorbed your soul! If you tend to lose against Poseidon, they can revive you within a few days." Chen blinked from the realization of something. "My Lord, may I ask something?" He questioned. "Shoot it." (Y/n) answered while Kojiro allowed for Hrist to form back to normal. The Valkyrie smiled towards Randgriz, who had gently lifted the ends of her dress with the bow of a head. "If you can absorb souls, does that mean we can as well?" Chen questioned. He smiled softly. "I'm just suggesting this to have things go by faster, you know? Just have others get resurrected faster." (Y/n) blinked. "... That's not up to me to decide. But rather, it's Pod's. He's the one that gave me this ability." The small machine stood silent for a few moments. "... Though, I suppose it's worth it." (Y/n) then looked at Pod. "Will you be willing to give the ability over?" They questioned. "Pod 153, please come here." The other Pod had floated towards him, allowing for him to have something float towards the Pod.
