Lloyd POV

After "that" day, for a whole week straight my classmates came to see me after school. Sometimes even later one or two would come and meet me in more private.

Kai told me that the teachers sometimes would and sometimes wouldn't come to school. Weird. Also another weird thing is that my father didn't attack last week. Exactly this week that I'm in the hospital. Maybe it's just a coincidence. Anyway tomorrow i will be able to go home from the hospital. I got tired of this place since the first day and now i feel like I'm gonna lose my mind. I am able to do nothing here. I can only stay here in bed on my phone and talk to my visitors when they come. Also Morro visits me everyday more times a day. Same for my mom but she has to work a lot so she can't visit me like Morro that most probably has nothing else to do than... idk ...training. i actually don't know what my family and Morro do the whole day. They didn't ask me anything about why i did it or anything related to that. I know those questions will most probably be asked one day but for now I'm safe from them.

Tomorrow

Right when i was about to leave i remembered.
L-Fuck! I whisper

I didn't tell my family to come after me. I told them i will come home today but didn't tell them to come pick me up or something. wait. It's not like they could pick me up. My mother doesn't have a license, neither master Wu and idk if Morro ever saw cars before coming back to life. I sat on the bed and tried to think of a plan. Just then someone entered the room. It was Kai. He usually comes at this time to see me. Why didn't I think of that? He's 18 and owns a car. ( I'm two years younger than him but i went to school faster than normal people )
L- Hello Kai!
K- Hu buddy! Didn't see ya in other clothes other than hospital clothes for a real while. You going home?
L- kind of. I don't have a car and neither do my family.
K- Want me to take you for a ride?
L- I would really appreciate that ! I said with a smile

He seemed to blush a bit. Maybe it was my imagination.

When they got to Lloyds home

K- bye buddy! See you at school!
L- Byeee!

This really was an experience. Kais whole car was filled with flaming hot Cheeto empty bags and different chips bags that were also empty and other stuff. Other than that it was ok. Kai is a good driver and we didn't have any problem. I'm actually surprised. I sincerely expected Kai to be always exceeding the speed limit and never look out for stop signs but he actually was a very good driver. Maybe because i was in his car and i just got out of the hospital but that may be just a coincidence idk.

I knock at my door. Morro opened. The moment he saw me a smile was let across his face. During this week i made more friends than i ever wished i will ever have.

L- Hello Morro!
M- Hello green-bean
L- where did that come from?
M- idk you just look like a green-bean.
L- just because I'm shorter than you doesn't make me a bean!
M- I'm 197 cm and you're 175 cm. You ARE a smol bean to me.
L- ugh.. i say. I small blush was let across my face. I sincerely don't know if that was of embarkment or something else.
M- Come inside already your mom told me to get some food hot for you.
L- FINALLY SOMETHING GOOD TO EAT! DO YOU KNOW HOW BAD THE HOSPITALS FOOD IS?
M- No?
