Marie Cosette Adrianna Daniels has quite the normal life despite such a fancy name. She's just an average American 18 year old with a love for food and her nightly Netflix marathons, but her life takes a drastic turn after her senior graduation.
That's when her French-born mother tells Marie of an arrangement to spend the summer with her grandfather in Paris, France. The same grandfather who happens to be filthy rich and one of the CEO's of Louis Vuitton, and the same grandfather who assigns Harry, one of the models, to show Marie all of Paris while she's there.
Marie is soon thrust into the world of high fashion and luxury, and in this crazy new world, there's only one thing she's certain of: this summer will be one she will never forget.
