Chapter 19:💖 Reception 💖

Today is our reception day so now I am getting ready for the reception party as I was about to wear a blue colour banarasi as my reception outfit. The beauticians are applying makeup on my face and it also feel very awkward when someone is applying something on your face so after half an hour they finished my face makeup. Now they started making my hairstyle as I told them to make messy braids on my hair because messy braids is my favourite.

After sometime they have completed making meesy braids on my hair then they started helping me to wear a saree so after helping me to wear a saree, they told me to look at myself into the mirror and I did the same as today my makeup is little bit lighter than my marriage days but usually I like light make-up.

Then maa(mother-in-law) came to my room and smiled at me then she make me wear some jewellery.

After I wear the jewellery given by her, she said

Perfect.

I smiled

Come fast okay, the guests are about to arrive. She said

I nodded positively.

Now the reception party has already started and the guest has also started arriving. I was standing on the stage along with Radha as the guests are coming and congratulating me. Maa and Tithi di are also welcoming their friends and guests.

After sometime, maa came with me along with her guests and introduced me to them.

Pamela, this is my sister Rudra's aunt. She said

I looked at her and smiled and she too then I touched her feet to take blessings as its a part of our culture that if you meet someone who is your elder for the first time, you should touch their feet to take blessings.

Ok ok no need of all these. She said

You both stay happy that's all. She said while touching my head.

I smiled and we talked for sometime then they both left. Now I was looking for him, you all know who it is but he isn't there till now. I was about to ask maa then I was him arriving with some guy's maybe his friends. He is looking damn handsome, just like a king. Even though, this is the first time I am giving compliments to a guy. Honestly, I felt relieved seeing him after 24 hours.

I was about to turn my face on other side but he noticed me and looked at him. Now I was feeling very shy to look at him. This is the first time, I am looking at something with eye- contact but somehow, I managed it afterall he is my husband. I have to spend my rest of the life with him so definitely it's not possible without looking at him.

We both smiled at each other then he came beside me and said

"You are looking very beautiful".

I smiled at him and said

"You too".

Really? He asked me confirming whether it's true or not?

I nodded positively and said

"Yes".

So can you dance with me? He asked me while extending his hand.

But I don't know how to dance. I said

I will help you come. He said then hold my hand take me to the dance floor.

Lots of couple are dancing there and he also helped me to dance.

We danced for sometime.

While the guests are coming and congratulating us, Tithi di arrived with two glasses of cold drinks.

You both haven't eaten anything for a long time, come have some drinks. Tithi di said and pass one glass to me.

I was about to take the glass from her but he objected and said

Wait. I just looked at him confused.

We will drink in one glass. Afterall we are husband and wife so we can drink in one glass right Pamela? He asked me while smiling.

I just smiled

He took another glass from the tray and told me "put your glass back on the tray".

I slowly put the glass on the tray then Tithi di left.
