When Craig arrived home, the box was there on his bed. He smiled absent-mindedly at the peace he'll get tomorrow. He continued the rest of the day like normal, all with a smile on his face, even when he went to bed he had that smile on.
He woke to his alarm, smiling as he turned it off. He got out of bed, walking over to Stripe's cage. "Hi baby!" He said as he took him out, turning when he heard the soft knock. "Hey hun, do you want a ride today?" His mother soft voice spoke from the doorway. "Yes please." He said with a smile. "Okay, hurry though. Me and your sister will be leaving on 10 minutes." Craig nodded and his mom walked in and kissed his head, before walking out to help his little sister.
Craig put Stripe back, filling his food bowl, and getting ready. He grabbed the box that was sitting on his desk, walking out of his room, shutting the door behind him. "Tie your shoes Trix." Trix was the nickname he gave his sister Tricia, that the whole family uses now for her. He sat at the table infront of Tricia. His mother noticed the box at his feet. "What the box for hun?" Tricia could be heard groaning. "Why does Craig get such a cute nickname like honey, while I get called Trix?"
Laura turned to her. "Because when you were first born and we told Craig your name, he would only call you Trix. Now put your bowl in the sink." She did that and they all got in the car. The car ride was fairly silent, the radio was playing in the background, Craig humming along occasionally to a song he liked. His school coming into view. He was smiling when his mom slowed the car to a stop. "Love you hun." Laura smiled at her oldest. "Love you too, mom." He said before putting the box on and got out of the car.
Clyde, Tolkien, and Jimmy just continued talking like normal, not really noticing the change with Craig. When Tweek entered school and saw Craig's group, he happily skipped over, the trio waving when he said hello. "Hi C-craig!" Tweek exclaimed happily, Craig just waved back. "What's w-with the b-box?" He asked. Craig just shrugged, Tweek frowned from the lack of verbal answers from him, hoping this will just last a couple of days before he took it off and talked to him again.
Tweek started losing hope as those days turned into weeks into months. Tweek was talking about something Bebe told him. "C-can you b-believe her?" Tweek asked, waiting for a response, Craig just stood there on his phone. He stopped answering Tweek around two weeks of wearing that box. When Craig didn't respond, Tweek just walked away from Craig, hand holding was also forgotten about a month after he started wearing the Buddha box, letting him find his own way to class. He just wanted his boyfriend back that loved and cared for him.
