CONTAINS STRONG LANGUAGE, AND REFERENCES TO BDSM AND HICKEYS

The soft knock on the door sounds at 10:02pm and Jungkook is not happy. He can tolerate being early because there isn't much reason to excuse it, but being late is one of the hundred things that infuriates him about working with models. Those models don't realise that the photographer is in control of everything – time included.

Flood lights just about set up perfectly, Jungkook grabs his camera and opens the door to his dimly-lit dorm-room. It's nothing too special: the double-bed positioned in the corner of the room, desk tucked away beside his built-in wardrobe, and his photography station buzzing with lights and hope for a good session with Jimin.

As the door opens, Jungkook holds his camera up and takes a picture of the model, catching him by complete surprise. Jimin was neither prepared or expecting the sudden photograph, but he trusts Jungkook in his work.

The picture is printed from the instant camera, coming out all grainy and fuzzy. Jungkook doesn't even bother shaking it because he knows the photo is immediately unusable and ugly.

"The first rule of being a good model is to always know when your picture will be taken," Jungkook's dark eyes bore into Jimin's lighter ones, reading his facial expressions within a matter of seconds. "Come in."

Words caught in his strangled throat, Jimin takes a step inside Jungkook's dorm-room, instantly scanning the dark room for any anomalies. One wall is coated in pictures of models in black and white, gagged or bound with rope, shadows bouncing off their bodies in the perfect way. The pictures are rather strange to Jimin at first, but he reminds himself that Jungkook is a good photographer.

"Do you have some sort of BDSM fetish?" Starting off with a joke that goes horribly wrong.

Jungkook glares at the model with confusion and slight frustration, adjusting some of the cords scattered across the room. Thoughts suppressed in his mind, Jungkook can only sigh at Jimin's lack of knowledge of the photography world, despite his passionate ambition to become a model.

"You wouldn't understand."

Brushing off the comment with awkward silence, Jimin continues pacing around Jungkook's room, waiting for the asshole of a photographer to finish setting up his station. There's nothing too pretty or interesting about Jungkook's dorm-room, despite his rather unusual collection of photography and pornography books arranged in title and size order. Once again, there's something so fascinating about Jungkook that it puzzles Jimin.

Just as Jimin is about to continue being even more nosey, Jungkook sharply stands up from his position on the floor.

"Done," Jungkook announces, monotone with little emotion. "Come sit down."

Direct as ever, Jimin strides over to the wooden chair positioned in the centre of the infinity cove, flood lights already beginning to blind him. Jimin doesn't think he'll ever get used to those blinding lights, even in the future when his modelling career could take off.

As he sits down, Jimin watches Jungkook's every movement. The photographer adjusts the flood lights in a way that makes Jimin's shadow reflect perfectly against the white background, and then adjusts the camera to be perfectly eye-level with Jimin as the boy is a little shorter than Jungkook remembered.

Jimin isn't wearing anything too special and Jungkook is glad. A simple white long-sleeve shirt and black trousers is enough to capture the innocence and plain, everyday life of the model, Park Jimin. It isn't too flashy or extraordinary, and Jungkook appreciates the model's simplicity.
