"Where are the Elders?" Prue asked.

"Magic School, they are safe. I kept my word." Paige said shortly.

"I thought Giddeon had everything figured out?" Prue asked.

Paige laughed out loud. Her voice echoed through the house.

"Giddeon's dead." Paige said.

"What? How?" Sam asked.

"I killed him." Paige admitted.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Paige, you killed an elder?" Sam stood up shocked.

"You're not exactly an angel either. I've heard stories." Paige said bitterly.

Sam didn't say anything.

"She had reason, Giddeon was a double agent. He was the one letting the demons in because he wanted them to kill Paige." Natalie defended.

"Why? You were helping them." Prue asked annoyed.

"He didn't like the fact that I carry more power than the elders themselves." Paige said.

"Do the other elders know?" Sam asked.

"Yes, they don't fault me because he put the collective in danger. Like I said I've done my job well, no other Elder's or White lighters. have been harmed." Paige said avoiding Prue's eye contact.

"When did you move them to magic school?" Sam asked.

"I don't know. It's easy to lose track of time here." Paige said.

"Since when has there been a magic school?" Prue asked.

Paige shrugged.

"Centuries." Sam answered.

"Of course." Prue said with an eye roll.

"Listen, we haven't gotten rid of the Source or Balthazar yet." Prue started.

"I know." Paige said.

"How?" Prue asked.

"The source shut the border to the underworld again around the same time I closed off this one. He didn't want you guys to kill off his demons while he was gone" Paige explained.

"Where is he?" Prue asked.

Paige and Natalie were communicating with their eyes.

"Here." Natalie finally said.

"How?" Sam asked.

"I trapped him here." Paige admitted.

"Where is he now?" Sam asked.

"Hiding." Paige said.

"You're coming home." Prue said standing up and pulling Paige's arm.

"No, I have a job to do." Paige said staring her in the eye.

"Yeah, and you're doing our job." Prue said raising her voice.

"You guys weren't doing it!" Paige yelled.

Prue knew she couldn't argue.

"Can I talk to Paige alone?" Prue asked Sam and Natalie.

Natalie led Sam into another room of the house far away from the sisters.

"I'm sorry about the fight before you left. It wasn't my business and I'm sorry now that you're having to pick up our pieces. You're more grown up than we thought and you're handling this like a boss." Prue said sincerely.
