y/n was awoken by the sound of horse hooves hitting the pavement they sprung out of bed think it was their father. they walked outside and sees her mother on their knees holding their fathers sword and shirt he left with his shirt was stained with blood. their uncle was on his horse behind it was their fathers horse to their horror they saw blood on the saddle and saddle pad
"Mommy"young y/n said
their mother looked at them and ran and hugged them "oh my sweet sweet child why are you awake " their mother said while holding back tears
they looked at their uncle. the man was crying they have never seen him cry before.
y/n then said "Mommy, where is daddy?"
their mother broke into tears and said "he isn't coming back "she said as she moved y/n's hair out of their face
the rain hit y/n's face "Why not, where is he!?"they said
y/n's mother rubbed their cheek "oh honey.." she broke down to sobs "just go to bed.."
