Baizhu walked around and listened in on some of the researchers who were talking amongst themselves. He heard two researchers who were talking about their thesis. Two children talking with each other, with the boy scaring the girl causing her to cry.
"Hey now stop scaring your friend." Baizhu said as he stood beside the two of them.
"Huh?" The two kids looked at him as they took a step back to look at him.
"W-Who are you?" The girl asked timidly.
"My name is Baizhu, I'm friends with the members of the Astral Express. Are you two researchers?" Baizhu said with a smile as he squats down to their eye level.
"Yep! I am Adler, lvl 2 reasearcher of Department of Ecology!" The boy Adler introduced himself.
"I-I'm Wen Shilling, an Implement Researcher." Wen said timidly opposite to the boy.
"It's nice to meet you Adler, Wen. Are you two the only child researchers or are there more?" Baizhu asked them with a smile.
"Hmph! Were the only ones or so I think. Not anyone can become researchers in Madam Herta's space station easily." Adler said as he puffed his chest proudly.
"I-It's scary. Why are the Antimatter Legion attacking us? And the gift I prepared for Master Capote is inside the analysis room." Wen said as tears were in her eyes.
'She's very scared unlike the boy. Maybe...' Baizhu thought to himself as he looked at them.
"Now now, as far as I have seen the Antimatter Legion doesn't seem interested in destroying non living things so I think your gift will be fine." Baizhu said with a smile.
"*Sniff sniff* Re-Really?" Wen asked him with tears in her eyes.
"Yes, I have seen them and they only seem to want to attack living things so your gift will be okay. So don't cry." Baizhu said to the girl with a smile.
"O-Okay." Wen said as she sniffed a bit.
'Hmm, I guess doing this will be fine.' Baizhu thought to himself before he looked at her.
"Wen, would you please look at my hand." Baizhu said as he showed his open palm to her.
"Okay?" Wen said as she looked at his palm alongside Adler.
Baizhu then closed his palm and his eyes glowed a light green hue before he opened his palm and one green and one purple rose appeared in his hand causing the girl to gasp in surprise with Adler's eyes widening.
"H-How?" Wen asked surprised.
"That is a secret~. Now why don't you give these flowers alongside your gift to this Master Capote?" Baizhu said as he presented the flowers to the girl.
"Really? It's fine for me to take them? Don't you want something as compensation? I know, I'll give you some credits." Wen said before she starts to searched her person.
"No, I don't need your credits. I'm giving these to you for free." Baizhu said with a smile as the girl looked stunned.
"It's free? Are you sure?" Wen asked surprised.
"It's fine. Here." Baizhu said as he showed her the flowers.
"Th-Thank you Mister Baizhu." Wen said with a blush as she took the roses in her hands.
'They're so pretty.' Wen thought to herself as she smiled.
"There you go. Keep on smiling and I'm sure in time this Space Station will be out of danger." Baizhu said as he rubbed her head.
