Armageddon's Awakening | Chaos and War

Chapter 1

A swarm of mechanized soldiers charge at a man just standing in the middle of the ruined city...a man standing tall clutching his katana in his hands while blood and oil stain his kimono, circuits and bolts litter the ground as he faces down the horde of mechanized abominations made of titanium and steel...

Akira: 「これらの魂のない機械は...戦闘を追求することに名誉はありません。」

Upon finishing the sentence the samurai blitzes accross the battlefield like a blur too fast for even the human eye to see

Swinging his katana accross the swarm of droids combusting them from the inside out as his katana emits as much heat and density as the suns core turning the droids into nothing but piles of circuits and ash

"I think you got them uncle"

A voice heard from the distance makes akira turn around and look at his young nephew wielding his katana

Akira: "Haru, where is your brother?"

Akira approaches haru, slowly sheathing his katana as he walks towards him, the wind blowing through the Samurai's hair as he steps over the bodies of both soldiers and destroyed droids to respect the dead from friend or foe

Haru looks up as his uncle looks down at him, making eye contact as the two bow their heads to show honor and respect

Haru: "Kurayami went with Lu-Lu to help in evacuation of civilians"

Akira would look up at the sky seeing smoke and ash swallow buildings as the smell of soot and rotting meat makes the air feel musty and heavy

Akira: "i was one of the first people to be titled, samurai back in my homeland...throughout the centuries of wandering the world, war has never changed"

Haru confused would hold his uncles hand leaning foward and resting his head on his elbow

Haru: "uncle...i swore to one day rid the world of conflict in her honor...i will take that oath till the day i turn to ash"

Akira would nod and slowly push haru back as he unsheathes his sword and looks off to see a figure standing over a tank, pointing at akira while glancing at haru

"Meta-Humans...Class A and a class D, A samurai who defied death"

The Entity climbs down from the tank as his armor is covered in spikes, shadow and mist emitting almost smoking off the gaps of its armor

Akira pushes haru behind him knowing this meta human is not a natural being but a experiment

Akira: "Haru, go with the others ill handle this"

Haru holds his katana shaking a bit as his breathing gets more rapid, his adrenaline spiking as he eyes down the entity

Haru: "No uncle, i want to stay and fight with you!"

Akira snaps at haru

Akira: "Go now, or you wont honor her legacy!"

Haru would sigh and run off from the scene

The Entity forms dual blades in his hands as he spins them around, loud bangs are heard throughout the city as the mere spinning of his blades break the sound barrier

"Samurai, call me..."Shadow Knight"

Shadow knight rushes at akira moving faster than light as he swings his dark blades accross akira, the tips of the sword aiming at his neck
