Alfred was a mysterious boy with a penchant for adventure the time has come dear it's time for a new school year and that's not all you are going to the Great Forest a place where you'll learn much about yourself if there's nothing I can't stand and it's the adventures all alone into the mysterious you're ten now so I think you'll be alright what was just simple gestures Alfred's mother made turned into a revealing figure white as snow and fragile like a baby who looked like she could break down in tears at any given moment there's nothing to fear mom I'll be alright if there's nothing else I'll be going now goodbye mom goodbye son write please let's go Rudolph Alfred said to his pet dog they leave the red and brown oak house pushing open the door enchanted by the fair sunlight they began to tread down a spiral road of thick green leafy trees and stone they walk over puddles of water which was dirty they stop and admire some roses and dandelions the flowers were a sight to behold the next thing you know was the ending of the spiral road the two walk into a nearby village where they set their sights on entering the Great Forest the Great Forest was to the South of the village a nearby village called San the two walk around with Rudolph becoming scared shitless the dogs never been far from nature and here the two of us were out in the great outdoors I can't find it I can't find it yelled Alfred as he began poking around his outfit: a red jacket embroidered with I I love New York bright and bold lettering Alfred had an amorous face a thin nose that looked like a screwdriver the way the nostrils would flair up the bridge of the nose was close to both blue eyes he had short black hair that shined in the sun I want to get this straightened out me and Rudolph have just reached this spot way out here in the capital little ways South the two continue to walk around the village they see many merchants with wares to sell there were shacks lined up together in a bundle tied together by the wind there must've been three shacks leaning against each other one stack was even made of hay Alfred and Rudolph meet two merchants a tall slender man with a clear white face and bright red rosey cheeks his ears were large and pointed out he leans in closely hello he said I think you should have a look at my wares it would suit you just fine to know that all my merchandise comes from overseas I work as a sailor part-time sometimes I ride the waves in my boat hot some things down in my notebook I would write about many things I would write about what it took to be a man among many men the sea was like this playground I look around but see nothing but other people moving around the marketplace that's a nice story and all but I've got to be going I want to see the rest of the village your wares don't interest me I began to walk away but the merchant clutched my right arm he who walks alone is truly lonely look at my wares boy or do you want trouble? Rudolph sick em boy! Rudolph began festering at the merchants' leg ripping the pants to shreds get this mutt away from me! The merchant yelled Alfred picked up a stick from a nearby branch of a tree and began to threaten the merchant go away now! I don't have time for this the merchant said scurrying away as he was leaving he dropped a small computer disk
