"ARE you sure you want to live there?" Gina asked while her eyes were fixed in the television.
"Yup, I don't want to be your burden anymore, Gina," I said then continue fixing my clothes in my baggage.
"Nope you're not b*tch," I chuckled. "Seriously you don't need to move out. I'm fine with you being with me in my place, you're not a burden to me since you literally helped me with the bills."
"I know but this time I want to be on my own you know," I sighed. "Because I want to be an Independent woman." I made a face when I say the word Independent woman.
The silence were loud then seconds had passed we both laughed our ass off.
"Yeah, yeah you can be an independent woman now," she said while wiping the tears in her eyes that she got from laughing. "I will miss you b*tch." She said dramatically.
"And I am also, but you don't have to worry about me," Then I locked the zipper of my baggage.
"But the place that you will live on creeps me out bacause you know the rumors," I know the rumors but that doesn't stop me from living there. The place where I will and should live were from my grandparents, I didn't know that they gave me a share from their property. So as a sign of gratitude I will live there even though there are rumors that the place I were going to live is haunted.
"I know but it's just a rumor right? So why not try to live there," I heaved a sighed and took my sling bag and baggage."I will take my leave and please take care here, I will message you anytime." Excru
"You too take care, goodbye," she waved her hands as I turned my back and twisted the doorknob to leave the place.
I HUMMED a song as I tap my fingers on the steering wheel.
"I think this is the place," I whisper to myself as I glance to the small village. After an hour of driving I already arrived here in the place where the address says.
The village was peaceful and quiet but there are few persons that are walking in sidewalk. I drove my car forward until it stops in a house. It's not small but it's also not big.
I parked my car in the side of the house that looks like a garage for me then step out of my car and grab the keys that are inside my sling bag. I step in the two-three stairs and used the key to unlock the door.
The smell of the old woods and dust welcome me, and the things were wrap up in a dirty white clothe. I sighed. This is going to be a long tiring day to clean this house.
I WIPED the sweat that were coming from my forehead and proceed to what I was doing. I heaved a sighed then scanned the spot I cleaned. I should've called a housekeeper.
I stop what I was doing and went upstairs to get my phone to call a food delivery. I lay in my bed to wait for my order and to also rest. But then somethings wrong I felt someone was looking at me in this room.
I opened my eyes only for seeing no one. Maybe I'm just hallucinating since I'm just new in this place. I shrugged and closed my eyes again.
My nap interrupted when something hit my window. I glanced to the window only to see a small crack.
"Must be a kid playing," I said, then walked forward to open the window but it was locked. Then I checked if there was a key hole to open this but there's none. Tsked.
I walked downstairs to busy myself while waiting for the order since it haven't arrived. Maybe because my location was far from the city.
After cleaning the living room and the other side of the house, my order still haven't arrived. I take a look to my phone to check the food that I order... but it's cancelled. What the hell!?
