Julia.

I walk into Apollo's office, I was confident. I had no shame from what I had just done. I don't know why I didn't.

Apollo looked up and smiled when he saw me walk in. "So? Did you do it?" He said.
I sat down in one of the available seats, crossing my legs.
"Of course it's done." I said, with a confidence. My face stayed stern though, I didn't want to show too much emotion to the mafia boss. He looked proud, only for a second until his face went serious. He leaned closer to me. "And how do I know you even did it? Where's your proof." He said. I didn't even think about that. Getting proof. I was speechless I didn't know what to say. He smirked. He knew knew that I hadn't even concerned to get proof of the murder.

Apollo leaned back into his chair, crossing his legs. "I'll believe you, just this once" he said, with a menacing glare. I felt relieved. I decided to look around the room again. I noticed something new. A fish tank, and it was huge. It had various species of fish. It was a salt water tank. Live coral, clown fish, a puffer fish, many more. One fish I noticed was a sea dragon. Are those even legal to own?! I guess I shouldn't be shocked, he is the Ace Mafia boss after all. I looked back at him to see him smiling.

"I see you noticed my newest addition to my office." He said, with the wide grin.
"Yeah, I see it." I said
"Well?" He asked
"Well what?" I asked back
"What do you think of it?"
"It's cool, I've never seen a sea dragon." I said, looking back at the tank.
"They are an exotic species, they've been on the red list since 2006." He said. He seemed to know about a lot of these sea creatures, but I didn't really want to make anymore small talk. For those of you who don't know, the red list for the sea dragons just means they are near threatened, and yes they are real.

I just wanted to go home and sleep. It was already past 11pm. Plus that was also like the most awkward interaction I had ever had with someone. "You can leave" he said, waving me off. I wasn't complaining. I got up and left his office, but before I left the door, he said something. "Be back tomorrow, 2pm sharp." I looked back at him and nodded. He probably had another mission for me, and I was okay with that. I then left, finally heading home for the night.

I walked the dark streets. Basically empty, besides a few people either walking alone or with their loved ones. A lot was going through my head I guess. That awkward interaction with Apollo, what I had done not even a few hours ago, and what I was going to have for dinner.

I finally made it to my apartment, unlocking the door and going in. I made sure to shut and lock the door behind me. Didn't want to take any chances. In the case I'd been caught for murder, or Apollo changed his mind on me. Either way I didn't want to risk anything.

Soon I finished dinner and decided to take a nice and hot bath. I did deserve it after all. It had been a long day. I started the bath water and undressed. I decided that it would be nice and relaxing if I lit some candles, so I did. I poured some bath salts into the tub got some wine, and threw a bath bomb in there too.

I got into the bath and started to relax, I drank from my wine and slowly closed my eyes.
I stood on the roof, looking over the edge. Apollo was there. Before I knew it we were falling. He was screaming, reaching to find something to grab. But I wasn't panicked, I was calm and content. Like I wanted it to happen. I watched as I got further and further from the top. I looked at Apollo. He was terrified. What was happening? Why is this fall so long? I looked down, I was close to the bottom.

Seconds before I hit it I woke up, gasping. It felt so real.
The tub water felt cold, it must've been a while now. My wine was spilled in the water, which was upsetting because that wine was kind of expensive. I checked the time. 2am. The dream felt so short, yet I was asleep for so long. I felt tired and groggy, I slowly got out of the bath and headed to my bed. I didn't even bother getting dried off or dressed. I laid down and fell asleep.
