Chapter 3: Who is she?

The teacher walked into the classroom. There was a girl trailing behind him. Shintaro was not paying attention, staring out of the window looking at the blue sky and white clouds.

"Ahem, attention students, we welcome Ms Tateyama back to class. She has recovered from her illness...bla bla bla" The teacher continued to blabber on but all Shintaro could do was stare at the smiling girl, bewildered.

He quickly regain his cool composure as Ayano headed to the seat next to him. Class resumed and he was staring at the blackboard with a blank expression, occasionally sneaking glances at the girl beside him. She was attempting to stay awake but the sweltering heat and teacher's buzzing lecture was too overwhelming that she finally gave in to sleep.

"She even has the same sleeping posture as her" Shintaro quietly took note.

"Riiinnngggg!!" Finally the bell rang, signalling recess time.

"Ayano" quickly shot her head up. She gave a big yawn and proceeded to rummage through her bag to get her lunch.

"Onee-chan!" Shintaro looked up and saw the trio, Kido Tsubomi, Kano Shuuya and Seto Kousuke standing outside the classroom. "Let's go have lunch" they said as they dragged Ayano out of the classroom.

Seto was the last to go, he grabbed Shintaro and pulled him along. After Ayano's death, he had become friends with her siblings. Sharing the sorrow of losing the person who meant so much to them.

While Ayano went to use the washroom (I wanted to put toilet but it would sound disgusting xd) the trio started to explain.

Ayano's father was an Alchemist. After Ayano's death, he was so devastated that he searched for ways to revive his beloved daughter. He worked hard and during the term break, he finally managed to bring her back to life.

The revived Ayano however had lost part of her memory. The memory of her family members and loved ones had disappeared. Maybe it was a cost for bringing her back. Hades had given her another chance, maybe because the sorrow of Ayano's death was too hard for him to bear that his wife Persephone beg him to let her live.

"S-so Ayano doesn't remember anyone of us? " Shintaro finally found his tongue.

The trio nodded sadly. She was able to recognise their teacher and her classmates yet she was clueless who her siblings and family members were, let alone remembering Shintaro.

But being the girl she had always been, she had trusted the trio becomes as she has stated, she felt that they were "good people that must have some connection with her" which brought them to tears.

She learnt to say their names but their identities, to her was still cluesless. "I wish I knew who you all were, I have a feeling we have known each other" she would furrow her brows and try to remember which ended with her having a headache and nothing more.

They stopped their conversation when Ayano emerged from the toilet.

"So, Tsubomi, where are we going to eat lunch at?" Ayano flashed a smile. She stopped when she saw Shintaro. "I-I, you seem familiar...." she said as she squinted her eyes, trying hard to remember.

Shintaro and the trio frozed, is her memory coming back? ;-;

"Ah, I remember now! I bumped into you this morning. I'm so sorry for bumping into you, please forgive me" Ayano said while bowing. Shintaro exchange glances with the trio while they gave him a helpless expression.

I'll stop here. 600+ words does it count as long or short? I feel like I was being naggy

haha if it was in the exam,I don't think I could write so many words xd I kinda have a writers block but I wanted to update the story so I did my best. Rachy loves everyone!!!

Oh ya, I almost forgot
Hades: king and god of the underworld in Greek Mythology
Persephone: wife of Hades,queen of the underworld. She was kidnap by Hades but she (according to my feeling fell in love with Hades) or she had eaten food from the underworld so she has to stay there for 3 months every year and for the rest of the year (9 months) she goes on to the Earth and spends it with her mother, Demeter.

Oh ya, and and, this revival thing kinda I guess influenced by Winter Woods, it's a webtoon. But this plot is by me so I love everyone!
